An incorporated mountain town at 9,540 feet on the bench across the box canyon from downtown Telluride — the resort base of Telluride Ski Resort with Lift 1's ski-in/ski-out condo product, Heritage Plaza's apres-ski bocce and ice rink, See Forever Ridge's Palmyra Peak views, and the free 13-minute three-section gondola that connects the village to downtown Telluride at 8,750 feet (the only public-transit gondola in North America).
Mountain Village is the resort base of Telluride Ski Resort at 9,540 feet — an incorporated town across the San Miguel box canyon from downtown Telluride, with Lift 1 at Heritage Plaza, Lift 4 (the Sunshine Express) feeding See Forever Ridge at 10,540 feet, and Lift 12 climbing to Palmyra Peak's 13,150-foot summit (the second-highest lift-served point in North America). The free 13-minute three-section Mountain Village Gondola runs over San Sophia Ridge connecting Heritage Plaza to downtown Telluride at 8,750 feet — the only free public-transit gondola in North America, operating 7 a.m. to midnight year-round. Allred's restaurant at the 10,540-foot mid-station and the Mountain Village Conference Center anchor the village's special-occasion dinner and the Telluride Bluegrass-and-Film Festival overflow venues.
Our rentals run from luxury See Forever ski-in/ski-out homes on the Lift 4 corridor, to slope-side Plunge and Bachman Village townhomes off Mountain Village Boulevard, to Bear Creek Lodge and Aspen Ridge condos in walking distance of Heritage Plaza, to the larger six-bedroom Copper Hollow and Polecat Chalet group homes on the bench's western edge with San Sophia Ridge sunset views. Most properties are within a 5-minute walk of the gondola or the Lift 4 base; the bigger homes trade Heritage Plaza walkability for floor-to-ceiling canyon views.
