I wasn't sure if it would be convenient enough when I first booked, but the location turned out to be great especially with the Salt-water pool next door to the condos. We were very pleased with the location and really didn't spend much time indoors, but slept very well, and loved the location very much!

This rental property was just what we needed to have a relaxing vacation. The kitchen was well equipped every possible gadget. It was quiet and the view from the lanai was lovely. We would definitely recommend this unit to others. <br/>The only thing we would have liked to have had was more light in the living room. Another lamp would have made reading much easier.<br/><br/>We visited the palace, the church across the street and walked along Alii.<br/>Restaurants and food: Scandinavian Shave Ice (the best), Big Island Grill, Kona Inn Restaurant, Bubba Gump, Pine Tree Cafe, Habaneros, Rays on the Bay, Kona Pub and Brewery and the Volcano House in Volcano National Park.

The location was convenient as we had a rental car, though we did walk into downtown Kona one day which took about 25 minutes. The only thing missing was an oven but we made do with the stove. The place was very clean. Enjoyed the pool & the lounge chairs by the ocean. An emergency required us to add an extra night which ended up being no problem & we were even given the same rate.

We enjoyed to stay at your vacation rental. Everything what we needed was there! What we also enjoyed was, that there were beachchairs, boogieboards and some more stuff for the beach! It was one of our best vacation rental experience! If it wouldn't be so far away from our home, we would def. come again!

This is our 5th stay at Kona Isle...love everything about it - the grounds, people, location and this little unit is perfect.

Perfect location. Clean apartment. We had a great time.

I and my husband stayed in A4 unit for 2 weeks at the end of March. It is an older unit, completely furnished; however everything has been in a very good working order and it has been very clean. The unit includes all beach accessories ( beach chairs, beach umbrealla, boggie boards , snorkelling gear etc..). It has a perfect location; close to Ali'i market, not so far from Kailua Kona town with all restaurants and gift Kona Isle there is a small beach with beach chairs where you can hang also offeres a great ocean view; you cannot swim there but you can watch and hear ocean waves crushing against the rocks. I would higly recommend the unit. I can hardly wait to come back. I would stay there again.

Kona Isle is a fantastic place to stay. Within mins of downtown Kona and right off the ocean. It was clean and very well kept. They were putting up Christmas lights the day before we left and it was looking very festive. When we come back we will definitely be staying there again!!

A very congenial and helpful people both residents and vacationers! Great location! Two things could make it better; either a toaster oven or a standard oven especially for long term rentals. The bathtub is quite high to climb into if senior citizens are contemplating this rental. Other than those things, it's a terrific place to stay while on the Big Island.

The pictures don't do justice. Very beautiful and super comfortable. Can't wait to come back and stay again. Mahalo!

Our time in Hawaii was great. The location at Kona Isle was perfect. The unit has been kept in great shape. We would come back to this unit next time. A few other comments: We were not able to check in at the normal time as they were doing bathroom repair work. It worked out okay but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Internet was not working and TV set up was also unplugged. Management come over very promptly during work hours to remedy the problems. Handles on some of the pots were lose and should be replaced. We appreciated the supply of TP (2 rolls) but only 1 roll of PT with 80 sheets for a week...just was not enough. You asked for help with laundry but only left 2 packets of soap. The floors in the unit were NOT sandy or dusty but when you wiped them with a wet cloth, they needed some help. All in all, we would recommend this unit to friends.

This property is fantastic. I rented it last Nov. from my trip to the Big Island. Its amenities & location are exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable place very close to the beach.

The application process while thorough, was lengthy. The property and rental management were stellar, one of the best we've ever worked with. Location of room on lower level facing ocean was perfect, although lights and vehicle noise from parking lot were periodically distracting. It was centrally located to downtown or beaches and assigned parking space appreciated. Condo community close, friendly, respectful, and quiet. The resident manager is amazing, constantly working to maintain meticulous grounds and always available. <br/><br/>

I rented this for my niece from Massachusetts, with her husband and 2 young children. They ALL loved it!

Big Island Kailua Kona is fantastic. Kona Isle condo complex has to be one of the best places to stay-----right on the water constantly crashing waves beautiful sunsets. The grounds/ large picnic/BBQ area/ pool are all maintained at a high standard. Unit A4 was well furnished and supplied and clean---great.

Deposit too high and not declared on booking. Very bad communication with the structure. We found many bugs in the property.

Beautiful location. We needed to extend our stay at this location due to volcanic activity and they were able to do this without any problem. The beach is lovely to watch the sunset and the waves.
