Beautiful venue. Older condo needs to be upgraded.<br/>
The ocean side pools and lanai were the draw for us. Unfortunately that was the end of the positives for this rental. It needs an extensive remodel, as everything but the two televisions seemed to be from the original move in. Kitchen is too small and poorly laid out. Dishwasher blocks 2/3 of the sink and access to put dishes away if door is open. Cabinets have recesses we could not see. Bed was uncomfortable. No sponges, garbage bags, or basic showering amenities, other than hand soap were in the unit. Parking is limited inside the gates, as there are not enough spaces for the number of units. A stud up remodel is needed, as plaster is cracking, carpet needs restretched, and toilet seat felt like you were falling in. But I guess that is what we get for the price we paid.
We enjoyed our stay. The condo is located in a great complex with two pools, bbqs and more. The sunsets were amazing. The Kona area is beautiful... we went whale watching which was amazing.
I had vacationed to Hawaii in previous years and I always reserved accommodations with the Casa because of its cleanliness, professionalism, elevator on premises and quick responsive customer service team. I will continue to book with the Casa De Emdeko in furture trips, you should too!
