Founded by the Spanish in 1565, St. Augustine is the oldest continuously inhabited European-established settlement in the U.S. — the Castillo de San Marcos coquina-stone fort, Flagler's Gilded Age Hotel Ponce de León, the cobblestone St. George Street historic district, and 42 miles of Atlantic beach from Ponte Vedra to Crescent Beach.

An Old Spanish Florida microsite

Welcome to St. AugustineAmerica's oldest city, the coquina-stone Castillo de San Marcos, Flagler's Gilded Age hotel district, and 42 miles of Atlantic beach across the Bridge of Lions.

St. Augustine sits on Florida's Atlantic First Coast, founded by the Spanish admiral Pedro Menéndez de Avilés in 1565. The walled Castillo de San Marcos National Monument fronts Matanzas Bay; the Hotel Ponce de León and Lightner Museum anchor Henry Flagler's 1888 Gilded Age expansion; and the cobblestone St. George Street pedestrian district threads through the colonial old town. Cross the Bridge of Lions east and you hit Anastasia Island — St. Augustine Beach, Crescent Beach, and the lighthouse-marked surf at Anastasia State Park.

Our St. Augustine inventory clusters around two areas. Ocean-front and ocean-side condos at Summerhouse, Sand Dollar, Ocean Village Club, Pelican Inlet, Sea Place, and Island House line St. Augustine Beach with shared pools and tennis courts. Pet-friendly pool homes (Beach Blossom, Casa Bella, Floridays) sit a five-minute drive inland from the surf. The downtown historic district is bookable through smaller cottage rentals around the Lincolnville National Register district.
