1009 W Bay | Quaint Cottage Steps to Sand
- Free Cancellation
Ten miles of Orange County coast wrapped around Newport Harbor — the Balboa Island Ferry that's run since 1919, the Wedge bodysurf wave at the harbor mouth, the Newport Pier Dory Fleet's morning fish auction since 1891, and a 9,000-slip yacht harbor that anchors the West Coast's biggest small-boat scene.
Newport Beach sits 40 miles south of LAX on the Orange County coast — the Balboa Peninsula runs three miles of sand from the Newport Pier south past the Balboa Pier to the Wedge at the harbor entrance, with the Newport Harbor and Balboa Island tucked inside the peninsula's hook. Pacific Coast Highway runs the length of the city; Lido Marina Village, Fashion Island's open-air mall, the Back Bay nature reserve, and Crystal Cove State Park's bluff-top trail and 1930s historic-cottage district all sit within fifteen minutes of each other.
Our rentals concentrate on the Balboa Peninsula and Balboa Island — beachfront duplexes between the two piers, walk-street cottages a block from the boardwalk, and bay-front Balboa Island bungalows with private docks for Duffy electric-boat rentals. Most are two-to-four-bedroom homes sleeping 4–8, with a smaller set of larger 5- to 7-bedroom oceanfront homes for the multi-family summer-week trip. Beach cruisers and boogie boards are stocked at most rentals.
