Okemo Mountain Resort's 121 trails on 671 skiable acres anchor the south-central Vermont town of Ludlow — a Vail Resorts Epic Pass mountain with a 3,344-foot summit, two on-mountain glade zones (the Sun Bowl and South Face), and the Black River running through the village past Lake Rescue and Echo Lake.
Ludlow sits at the west edge of the Coolidge Range in south-central Vermont, three hours north of Boston and four from New York City. Okemo Mountain Resort spans 121 trails on 671 skiable acres — the main face served by the Sunburst Six high-speed bubble chair (one of the only heated-bubble lifts in the East), the Solitude detachable quad, and the Quantum Express; the South Face and Jackson Gore expansions add another 200 acres and a separate base village. Vail Resorts acquired Okemo in 2018; the Epic Pass works here. The summit at 3,344 feet sits below Killington and Sugarbush but the family-engineered grooming and the Sunburst's heated bubble make Okemo the East's most-loved kid-friendly mountain.
Our rentals stretch across the Okemo base village (the Mountain Lodge condos at the Quantum lift, Westwood walkable to Main Street), the Jackson Gore base, and the slopeside Winterplace townhomes — plus a smaller cluster of Lake Rescue and Echo Lake summer homes north of town. The Downtown Grocery sets the village's culinary bar; Goodman's American Pie has been the town's pizzeria since the 1970s. Most rentals sleep 4–8 with full kitchens; the slopeside townhomes go to 12+ for ski-week groups.
