The condo Silver Bear #39 was a good fit for our two families who shared it, including a baby and a preschooler. We loved that it had 3 bathrooms, two bedrooms and a good sized loft, and a washer / dryer. We did a lot of cooking and having people over for meals and the living room and kitchen were big enough for us.<br/>We had a problem with our internet connection and the property manager sent someone over and he fixed the problem right away.<br/>The condition of the condo was very great except that the sliding door to the master bath was broken, and the door to the master bedroom did not close well. Hopefully, they will get these fixed before the next guests.
The 2 bedrooms and loft provided the space we needed. The high ceilings made the unit feel extra spacious and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need.
We absolutely love this place. Second year staying in #39. Having an elevator work great for us. Very roomy, clean and we can walk to the slopes. Definitely staying there again next year.
The condo itself has lots of light, great views, and the 3 bedroom, 3 bath layout is very nice! It just needs a few repairs and updating: the kitchen blinds did not pull up, a tile is chipped and missing on the kitchen counter (you can see it in the promo picture!), the kitchen faucet leaks, the microwave door handle needs repair, the towel rack in the loft is gone (one bracket is left!), the king mattress in the front bedroom isn't too comfortable, the TV should be moved to over the fireplace (the TV blocks amazing mountain views!--also there are too many and confusing TV controls), some water damage over the fireplace, the gas fireplace did not work (we tried for an hour to fix it--my brother's an expert--it needs a new insert; a nice maintenance guy came promptly but couldn't easy fix it), and the place could use some new carpet. I've stayed at lots of condos in Mammoth over the last 40 years and this one is a favorite: Simply refresh it a bit and you've got a gem!
The condo is strategically located. It is spacious and has premium views. There is a well equipped kitchen and very convenient indoor parking.<br/>A few small things need attention and maintenance. The sound system kept displaying speaker error messages. The gas fireplace instructions mentioned some knobs that were hidden and extremely hard to find. The sauna was OK, but we were told that the hot tub heater had been broken a while ago.

This is a great 3rd floor condo for a family or groups of ski friends - plenty of sleeping options and space to spread out. Relatively easy walk to Canyon Lodge although is uphill on way out. Covered parking is great (1 car only) and lift access is close to front door of unit.
