We were very happy with our 2 week getaway and stay at the Sea Village Resort The unit is very spacious, comfortable and has stunning ocean and city views. It’s only a 15 minute walk into town and the beach.

This rental was a perfect spot to stay on the Big Island. Easy to get to, convenient parking and a beautiful view. Highly recommend!

The condo and amenities were wonderful and the scenery was beautiful. There were lots of lava rocks and the water is unreachable, even though the pictures make it seem as it is. We had to travel about 8 minutes away to reach a beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear and sand toys are provided in the condo. The condo was not air conditioned and so it was warm and humid during the day. Fans were provided to help with the heat.

The apartment has a great location, everything you need for your vacation is there, especially the beach and snorkeling equipment was very helpful.<br/>The view of the sea and the sunset are great.<br/>For us 6 people the space was sufficient.

Entire experience was easy. Dolphins and whales from the lanai. Mauna Loa eruption was incredible to see and the snorkeling was great.<br/><br/>

My family spent 2 weeks in SV was very comfortable. Some maintenance problems occurred but were resolved almost immediately. We loved being on the ocean and enjoyed seeing whales & dolphins and especially the sunsets.we spent a lot of time on the deck.

We stayed at the Kona Sea Village with another couple for six days in April. The condo was roomy and comfortable. The second bedroom was a bit tight for two adults but we managed, especially since we spent most of our time there on the lanai! The view was wonderful! We were close enough to walk to town where we picked up our car rental the second day. I was concerned that there wasn't assigned parking but we were always able to find a spot right by our staircase. I would absolutely stay here again. The Sea Village was a nice property (pool, BBQ were great), and it's hard to beat the condo for the view, especially for a two bedroom.

The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay in regard to making meals and equipment for beach activities. The view from the condo and the Lanai were awesome. You felt like you were actually in the water. Watching the sunsets and the boats coming and going in the distance was awesome. You were close enough to the downtown and shopping you could walk. The comforts of home with the feeling of being on vacation. We hope to return soon.

They made everything easy. Washer and dryer was a plus while on vacation. The whole process was great

This is one of our favorite condos at the Sea Village. We have stayed in one of the units in building 4 for the past several years. This unit, however, has the advantage of a terrific oceanfront view and cool breezes in the afternoon and evenings. When we arrived we were thrilled with the unit and the view.<br/> We had been in the unit six nights when a unit above us flooded and caused water leakage into our ceiling, walls, and floor.<br/> At about 6am on a Sunday morning we had to call Blake who, despite numerous other calls about this situation, immediately started looking for alternatives to save our annual Hawaii vacation. Blake went above and beyond my expectations of finding another accommodation. January and February are probably the most "impossible" times to find waterfront accommodations close to town. With the help of Claire from the agency we were settled into a spacious, if not waterfront, resort property near where we had been staying. There had been no problems with out unit until flooding from above changed our vacations plans. Workmen were in the unit within 24-48 hours. However, the damage had been too extensive for us to stay.<br/> At all times, Blake and Claire were courteous and helpful looking for solutions to our dilemma. I appreciated their understanding, patience, and caring in getting things worked out. I would definitely recommend this condo (when it is fixed), and rental agency to anyone!

No air conditioning made it a bit uncomfortable. There were fans in every room but it was HOT!! But the view was amazing!!!

We stayed in September 2021. The condo was clean and well stocked. The ocean views from the Lani were amazing. The location was great. Our family of 4 had plenty of room. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again.

Very beautiful condo. Exceptional views of ocean from inside condo, gives feeling of being surrounded by water like over water bungalow. Ocean views from lanai great. Condo was clean, fairly well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms comfortable. The one con about property in our opinion is that bedrooms not located with ocean views, they are at back of condo where walkways are, where with cars, people talking, etc. creates unwanted noise trying to sleep. Other con is no elevators having to carry luggage and groceries upstairs. Did see dolphins during our stay, exciting!

The condo was great. Clean and comfortable. The best part was that they stocked it with chairs and floaties and a cooler that we used for our beach days. Saved us a lot of money for stuff that we would have had to leave behind. Thanks for that.

We watch dolphins almost every day from the back deck. This truly was the best condo we have stayed in so far. The views, the kitchen, and the washer/dryer made this such a nice trip! They had beach gear, chairs, coolers, everything you needed for the day. It was fantastic! I didnt feel the need to mention its on the ocean so certain things could use attention, but, I know some readers may care. the white carpet wasn't my fave, but who cares! It was a great condo for the week!

We have stayed in the Sea Village for the past several years. It is an absolutely lovely, well run, quiet oceanfront complex w/ a nice pool and hot tub. This unit has an amazing view of sunsets, dolphins, & even whales, all from the lanai! The sound of the waves & the cool breeze flows thru the spacious condo, making it cool and relaxing. There are ceiling fans & standing fans as well. The unit was easy to check in, very clean, and in great shape. It is well furnished, w/ comfortable beds and quality linens, towels, mats, etc. The kitchen and bathrooms are upgraded, exactly as pictured. We were thrilled to find a great assortment of beach chairs, towels, mats, coolers, boogie boards and toys, too. We felt very lucky to find this condo, in our favorite complex, in our beloved Kona.

Great overall. The property was as advertised and met our expectations. The only issue was in opening the lockbox to get the key for access. It was late at night and we had to get a motel room for the night. We met the manager at 10 am and once he showed us how to open the lockbox, it was easy!

The condo met all our needs. Could walk to the restaurants but far enough that it was quiet. We also got to see dolphins , whales...

This was a very nice unit and an easy experience. The unit is 1.5 miles to downtown. We walked to town, along the water, every day. It's close to the action but far enough away to be quiet. The unit is quiet and well appointed. The pictures don't do justice to the view. We saw dolphins swimming by while we drank our morning coffee. We could smell the water and listen to the waves.The rental experience itself was an absolute joy. The room was clean and well appointed. There was a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. Even detergent and fabric softener was provided.Loved this place!

This place was awesome location, beautiful views, clean and management a pleasure to work with.Already planning our next stay.

The condo was well maintained and very clean. We would definitely stay there again. Even though the unit doesn't have a/c the ceiling fans and breeze kept us comfortable. The lanai was right on the water and great for having our morning coffee and checking out the action in the bay. We even saw dolphins more than once. The living area was good and kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nice and very clean. The entire complex is older but very well taken care of with lots of plants and good parking. The pool area is very nice with lots of chairs, tables and lounge chairs. I believe the pool is a saltwater pool which is great and they keep it at a good temperature, warm but still refreshing. The BBQs are Webers in great shape and we enjoyed the view while BBQing. The unit is about 15 minutes or so from the airport and you can almost walk to town. I really have no complaints. By the way, it was my wife, my sons, 13 and 17 and myself, we were all happy with condo and complex.

The view was amazing! Condo needs some upgrades, I.e screen door, furnishings are not comfortable and there is carpet.

Great condo and the perfect location and views for sunsets. The condo is set up well for functionality and has lots of space. Generous on the "basics" supply of (toilet paper, soap, dish soap...) which is great that tone does not need to buy that type of stuff half way through the vacation. The property management company communicated well, and had avenues for feedback or assistance if needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautifully decorated. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. Many extras to make your stay perfect. Comfortable beds. Plenty of soft towels. Ceiling and portable fans very helpful for our late September stay. Lounging on the lanai best in the mornings. Could see the coastline to downtown Kona. Cruise boats only about 2-3X/week. Dolphins pod visited us at lanai. Watched the long boat rowers and sailing boats in the bay. Sunsets from the lanai. Plenty of parking - well lit-helps to bring eye shield if you are sensitive. Washer-dryer efficient. Pool and hot tubs very nice with red umbrellas and chairs. We did not try the many grills.

The Sea Village is one of the best properties for view and value in Kona. It's our second stay here and we loved the sound of the waves. This particular unit was perfectly situated to enjoy the ocean and views. We regularly saw dolphins in the morning and enjoyed the sunsets a great deal.It does suffer from some need to update. The back screen door was consistently coming off the track, the beds would benefit from replacement, and the kitchen not super well apportioned. That said, for the value we'd definitely stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in unit 4205. The unit was clean and well maintained with Hawaiian furnishings- beautiful dining room table. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms and even beach furniture- which I was not expecting. The kitchen had all appliances and a rice cooker with washer/ dryer in unit. Size was good for three of us- patio had great ocean view. Pool on premise and coffee shop walking distance from property and about a 15-20min walk down Alii Street for shops and restaurants. I would give 4.5 stars- wish for air conditioner.

great location right on the ocean. good walk into town with lots of shopping and restaurants. our 2 bedroom 2 bath was well equipped with more beach stuff than we knew what to do with. Additionally the ice maker was an ice producing machine, it was great because it was hot and little to no trade winds so the ice maker got a work-out. only suggestion is to replace the cookware as it was old and incomplete, only 1 6 inch fry pan, ended up cooking a lot in the large boiling pan, it worked but really? Didn't quite fit with how the rest of the accommodations were. overall great place, priced right, and what a view. will stay there again.

It was a very comfortable condo. My only criticism is that it had a non-working dishwasher and we were lead to believe it would be taken care of but never was. The light in the refrigerator also was out and was reported but never replaced. I was surprised at this neglect.

Loved the location and price. Loved the ocean breeze. Loved the nice walk to town every morning. Loved the dolpins in the morning! It could have had a larger frying pan for cooking in and the dishwasher was not working. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a great unit. Great location. Wonderful view. The only problem was that the refrigerator was not reliable and we had to deal with that for the whole week. Property management didn't do anything to help and that was a disappointment. With everything else they were great. Get a new fridge and it's perfect!

Upon walking in this rental you are immediately impressed by the spectacular view, nice furnishings and upgraded kitchen. The bathrooms however were very filthy and need a deep cleaning. I recommend a new cleaning company to clean the condo. We enjoyed the location and whale watching. Thanks.

We were very pleased with this apartment. We were not sure what we would find, but going in we immediately regretted not having booked a longer vacation there. The apartment is large, comfortable, very nicely decorated, has everything you need. The ocean view is SUPERB! It was very clean, and had towels, chairs, etc to bring to the beach. Being able to use the washer/drier, was fantastic. we didnt have to talk to anybody at all. Sleep quality was great, no noises at all. Only problem was that it was a bit hot and there was not A/C but other than that I totally loved the place, is good value, and I would definitely come back.

Sea Village is one of the nicest oceanfront properties in Kona.

Beautiful view. Place good use a good cleaning and living room furniture replacement. Marginally stocked with products. No coffee or creamers. Maybe because we just came from a place on Maui that had everything we could want. No A/C but place stayed comfortable with fans. Good location.

We have booked this property through Knutson for the last eight years and have always been impressed with their willingness to help with any requests for assistance. We have already booked again for 2015.

Everything was a delight. We were thrilled to find a Welcome Goodie Basket in the fridge upon our arrival. The location to Kailua was close and quiet, no road noise. Loved the locally run coffee shop on site. The only one minor observation was that we could hear the people above this unit walking around. Other than that. . . perfect.

Arrived at Sea Village at 4:00 Pm Sat Mar 2nd. The unit had not been cleaned . Greeted by a pile of wet towels,unmade beds and overall cleaning needed. We called the contact person and didnt get an amswer. We decided that we needed a place to stay so went out and purchased cleaning supplies etc and spent the evening cleaning ,washing towels and bedding and vacuuming. The contact person did call us back and said he couldnt do anything until Monday. The cleaning lady arrived on Sunday with the standard basket of fruit etc and said there had been a mix up.When we talked to the contact person Nick he promised to refund the cleaning fee ( which is higher than most) After 5 phone calls and at least 4 emails several even after we got home that was finally done. I relalize mistakes happen and we are pretty easy to get along with but the followup was certainly badly handled. I hve stayed at Sea Village several time and like the property very much but will certainly look at renting and speaking to the owners from now on rather than a very impersonal agency.
