This condo is in a great location and we love that it is pet friendly. The living room furniture needs replacing. The couch is a worn out sleeper sofa that no longer converts to a sleeper and instead has a piece of plywood under the cushions that are so worn you can feel the plywood. The larger chair is comfortable enough but the two wicker chairs are not at all and one doesn’t have a properly fitted cushion in it. If this condo had comfortable furniture in the main room, it would be perfect for us! We had a nice stay but likely won’t rent this unit again until living room furniture has been updated. Kitchen is well equipped and bedrooms are nice.

It doesn't get any better than this. Cross the street and you are on the beach. Walking and bicycle paths just in front of the property makes this a most convenient beach house and it contains all the amenities you could ask for. Decks front and rear for sunshine or shade any time of day. Diana is a most helpful and caring real estate agent and treats her guests like family. Small, comfy and extremely clean. What's not to like?

PROS: Included beach toys, chairs, wagon, umbrellas, beach towels, you name it. Didnt need to bring anything for beach. We determined that the Keurig and beach wagon that were included were not there but the response from the host/management, Diana, was immediate and most impressive! She brought a brand new wagon and brand new kuerig within a few hours of reporting it. The bathtub stopper in the master would not seal and she also brought a drain cover which was a quick solution and worked for us. Overall it had everything we needed to get by with no major issues. CONS: VERY VERY outdated, furnished with random furniture. Only actual furniture "set" was the LR couch and oversized chair and both were worn well beyond an acceptable state. Description says no fold out couch, which due to the state of couch is partially accurate. There was a piece of plywood covering what was the fold out bed, which creeped me out enough to not investigate further. There was only one other living room chair and it was wicker and not comfortable. The TH had a general feel of dirty, grounds included. Chairs in the pictures were not on any patio, but did find one in the bushes. Inside had a strong odor of dust and mothballs so we had to buy candles, and every ceiling fan had an inch of dust. Bathrooms only included 4 bath towels, 2 wash clothes, 2 hand towels so laundry was required daily. No nice soaps or other toiletry items, no bath rugs. One side of vanity was stuffed with random BR stuff and couldnt be used. 2nd BR had window unit, washer spin cycle was violent and loud regardless of what we did to fix. All window coverings throughout the rental were shear or light colored so sun is blazing into every room. We had to buy black sheets to cover windows in order to sleep past 5:30-6am. Overall the service response was fantastic, but TH wasnt clean, didnt meet our general expectations and way overpriced compared to other options. We will not be staying there again.

The unit was very clean and the location was great. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. The only suggested changes are: the living room furniture needs to be replaced, the couch is worn out and the two chairs are not comfortable. The treads on the outdoor stairs need to be attached better, as at least one treads is loose. Our family had another great vacation at Navarre Beach.

We have stayed with Navarre Sands twice now and both times this property was amazing. This is the perfect location, nestled in a more narrow part of the island between the gulf and the sound. The house is perfect and has everything you need to make a beautiful seafood dinner! Well equipped with beach items, we were happy to have found the wagon to carry our things to enjoy the gorgeous gulf waters.

This was our 2nd time staying at Pelicans Roost. The house is completely stocked with everything you need to cook any meal. You have a gulf and sound view from the porch. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. There’s a public lot across the street that you can easily access. We didn’t have our dogs this time but we did our last stay. It’s nice to bring our pups.

We’ve stayed in 4 properties from Navarre to Destin. This would be ranked as the top. It is as described, for the money it’s a nice place to stay. Beds were crazy comfortable. It is very pet friendly, so much so, they provide gates. There was a really big draw back for dogs with longer fur, the ‘cocoburs’ killer stickers are all over and there isn’t a patch of grass anywhere near property for pets to do their business. We literally drove them down the street to grass.

I really enjoyed this beach townhouse. Just across the street from the beach. Enjoyed setting on the porch.<br/>Has everything you can think of inside of it. Everything for the beach. <br/>Loved that I could have my fur babies with me. I could of not stayed here without them, they are part of my recovery.<br/>Cons:<br/>Beds were hard.<br/>Second bedroom very noisy and needs to be replaced ASAP. Creaks horribly. Ended up buying a mattress pad to help with the comfort. <br/>It decor is not beach theme. More of a bachelor. There are minor repairs that need to be done. The ceiling was starting to come down in the kitchen. <br/>I would paint all the cabinets white to brighten up. but that is me.<br/>Furniture on the outside was rusting. Would not sit in it without a towel.<br/>The front porches need to be inspected. The wood is starting to rot. <br/>Toilets need to be replaced. I'm not explaining this one.<br/>Natural setting down side:<br/>Be careful not to walk without shoes, sand spurs are every where.... Ouch they hurt. And if you take you animals inspect them before returning back to remove them.... <br/><br/>Would I rent again..... Over and over and over!!<br/>

The rental was a wonderful surprise the weather not good no traffic love that things to do the Air Force museum well worth the visit. Go to peg leg Pete place to eat by all means go to Pattis to buy sea food and the market on 98 is also good. When we got home my neighbor mow my yard, it rained all week so was worried. I known that might stayed another week. Diana is good she right on.

This rental was in a great location across the street from beach access. Very comfortable, clean and had many extras such as beach toys, chairs, umbrella and cooler. The outdoor shower was wonderful as well to rinse the sand off. Don't worry you can still hear the ocean across the street and see both Gulf and Sound! Perfect!

Wonderful house we stayed in and beautiful view! It was peaceful and a great time! We will definitely be back !!

Great time the condo was nice and well furnished.

We had a very pleasant stay at Pelican's Roost. We were there in early April and enjoyed the peacefulness.<br/>We had an issue with the a/c but management was on top of the problem immediately.

This was our 3rd stay at this complex with Navarre Sands Rentals. It's always clean, well supplied kitchen, towels and beach gear. Any issues are immediately addressed. A direct walk across the street to the beach.

Nancy and I couldn't have been more pleased with our time here in Navarre Beach. It is a quiet, friendly, beach location that fit our expectations and more. Diana, our Realtor, was as personable as a family member, assisted us with any issues, and recommended some fantastic places for us to visit and enjoy. My highest recommendation goes out to Navarre Sands Realty. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Navarre Beach.

We are very pleased with our experience. The town home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The proprietors were very responsive to our needs. The location and proximity to the beach are excellent. We were pleasantly surprised to find items like folding chairs provided for the beach. We were so pleased that we asked to stay one more night and we were obliged. Overall, great experience. Can't wait to return!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The place was very nice and just a short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

I spent a week in Pelican's Roost 6/24 - 7/1. I really enjoyed the place and it suited my needs perfectly. <br/><br/>Things I loved:<br/> -The split plan upstairs with 2 masters was perfect, as it was just myself and Roomdog (person. Not actual dog) staying there. Mattresses are very firm, but that doesn't bother me. Maybe you'll want to bring an extra pad if you need bed cushiness. Master suite is fantastic.<br/> -A/C worked great and there were no problems getting in or out of the house.<br/> -Location is wonderful because it is close to some public access and a bit more populous locations of the beach, yet distanced enough from the crowded area down the way. <br/> -The beach :)<br/><br/>Here are the only issues I had with the home:<br/> -Banister off the back was hanging off when we arrived. Management knew and contacted me a couple days in, letting me know someone was coming to fix. A bit of construction work in the AM and it was good. We didn't hang out on the back deck much anyway.<br/> -While walking downstairs (at noon totally sober), on the beachside outdoor staircase, one of the stairs broke in half lengthwise. I slid a bit and caught myself with no injury, but really glad my Mom or Aunt wasn't the one it happened to. I called it in and management sent someone the next morning to fix. <br/><br/>It was a family reunion style week and multiple folks had different homes. Mine was my favorite to go home and sleep in. Had some game nights and fun times in the house, but the living room isn't as wide and spread out as some of the other beach homes in the area, so it's not the place to bring a crowd. <br/><br/>All in all, it was perfect for my situation and I would stay there again. Some of the woodwork gets old with that beach spray coming at it forever, so I'm sure the owners will keep replacing things and keeping it fresh. 4 Stars!

We spent a week comfortably at the Pelican's Roost. We particularly enjoyed feeling like we were at home where we could truly relax. The owners provided a grill, several beach chairs, an umbrella and lots of beach toys. The outdoor shower and faucet made cleanup a breeze. The only thing we would suggest is providing a binder that includes rules, instructions and visitor information.

Our stay at Pelican Roost was exceptional. Not only is the location very close to the beach, the bike path and walking areas for our little dog are a real convenience. We love the quietness of the local community. Our realtor Diana is wonderful and responds to any issues immediately. Looking forward to returning again next year.

We stayed at Pelican Roost our very first time to visit Navarre. It was exactly was I was hoping for. The house was clean, roomy and had everything we needed. It's away from the Condos and pier by a mile or two which I liked. Beach access is a short walk and this area of the beach wasn't overly crowded since it's a way from the condos and pier. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Renting the house for the week couldn't have been any better or easier.

We enjoyed staying at Pelican's was very clean and conveniently located near the beach. The views of the Gulf and Sound were beautiful.

We were pleasantly surprised with this unit. We have stayed in other properties that didn't measure up but this unit is very nice. A bonus was there are beach towels provided since we left ours at home. The one negative is the shortage of guest linens. We were only able to find 2 face cloths. For a place that sleeps 6, that's not near enough. We would stay here again.

The vacation rental felt like you were at home. Great location, right across street from the beach. Loved that there was a outdoor shower to wash off the sand. They provided plenty of beach towels and beach toys. There was plenty of room for my family to relax and enjoy vacation.

We had an absolutely fabulous time!!! Best vacation ever.
