Myfamily enjoyed Ocean Front Escape. The home was fully equipped with everything needed. Very convenient location and having the beach in the back yard was Great!<br/>No more extended stay hotels for us. We will definitely plan to stay here on our next visit.

We had a wonderful time!! Great location. Close to outlets, grocery stores, drugstores and restaurants... but right on the beach.. we will book for next year .

The location really makes up for all of the issues we had with the house. <br/>Hair in the beds and showers, none of the bathroom doors locked, you can see through the windows in the showers and by the toilets the little bamboo shades are see through!! Like I said location was perfect.

Lovely home on the beach. Family had a great time

House was beautiful and location was incredible. Grill was too nasty to use, and our last day while we were trying to leave we had to dodge workers coming in and out, which I didn't appreciate because we had teenage and young girls with us. When I said something to management, they were snarky and hateful about it, so I guess the review is more about them than the house.

Check-in process was simple. House was clean, but could use some maintenance. The floorplan wasn't great, but it worked. Being right on the beach, I hoped (and assumed) that there would be a deck or patio that could have been utilized for outdoor dining or just hanging out. It was a shame to be RIGHT on the BEACH, but we didn't have an area to enjoy the outdoors. The house served it's purpose, but we will look at a different property for future stays.

This place was amazing! We loved it! The location was absolutely fantastic! We were close to so many good restaurants and the best part is that it was RIGHT ON the beach! It was a very nice beach too! We will definitely be back next year! Highly recommended!!

Family beach vacation just walk out the back door and you are on the beach!!! Ocean was beautiful, beach was not crowded, house was beautiful! We had a great time and highly recommend this property for beach vacation. You are close to shopping, grocery and restaurants.

We took our Family for a week long Dream Vacation! The House is Beautiful & Very Clean! The Beach is AMAZING, It Gets the Best Beach we have been too (including Mexico)! We would recommend this place to Everyone! You literally walk out your back door to the Beach/Ocean! All of the people in the area were all very friendly! The grocery store & other stores were all very close! Its in a great Location! Our only note would be next time to bring extra blankets/pillows as we were a little short with those!

My husband I are spent the past year as medical/mental health Covid first responders. We needed a break! Our daughter, son-in-law and three grands joined us for some fun in the sun. Unfortunately the entire stay had double red flags for riptides so no one could get in the water. $500 fines issued. Due to the spaciousness of this home, our vacation was still amazing! The location had us close to Captain Dave's and other favorite family restaurants. It's minutes away from super centers and grocery stores. Highly recommended!!!!

True On-The-Beach Experience

LOCATION COULDN'T BE BETTER....WALK OUT THE BACKDOOR AND YOU'RE ON THE BEACH.

My 81 year old mother treated the family to a wonderful vacation. the house was very nice and the location perfect. The rooftop deck was my one of the best features other than location. Being on the beach in a house such as this is a treat that should be experience at least once in your life. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the property and the beach.

It was everything we needed and wanted as a family

We found the property to be as advertised and had no major issues.<br/>There are a lot of steps (and an elevator) which we knew before committing. If you have young children, take a gate with you.<br/>We prearranged the Beach service and had no issues with that.<br/>

The house was amazing, plenty of room for my family. Just a couple of minor issues, breaker flipped when two people were running a hair dryer and the batteries kept going low in the smoke detectors that kept beeping, other than that, we had an amazing vacation in Destin. I would definitely rent this property again. My family had a great time!! :)

The home was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The views are incredible. We had a great time and would highly recommend this rental. It is especially suited for couples or multiple families that want private areas as well as a central area.

The house is awesome! Location could not be any better. Beach right out the back door. 2 blocks to mall and grocery! We had a few minor issues the management company addressed immediately; just normal stuff that happens. Best place we have ever stayed! Lots of room, good open family area. The weather was not cooperative but we still had a great time!

Everything about this place was phenomenal except for the air conditioning on the 3rd floor (floor with the kitchen & living room) did not work well during the day. We tried shutting the curtains and leaving the fans on all the time but it was still 78 degrees inside on that floor in mid-September. Also, the couch pillows and rug by the couches were covered in white dog or cat hair. However, this place was incredible and we would return, hoping that the AC was fixed by then!

Ocean Front Escape is a beautiful home with an incredible view. Open the curtains and you see ocean for miles and miles. The rooftop tanning area- amazing. Great place to tan away from the sand. The house itself seems very well managed the kitchen pots and pans aren't the best if you like to cook. Really, the only downfall was small pool, but how can you complain, the view makes up for it...and you're really at the ocean for the ocean.

Very beautiful house. When you pull up, or are on the beach. .. You look up and see that it is BY FAR a spectacular house! The inside was clean and updated - unlike most beach houses. The artwork is amazing and modern. The double vanity sinks are one of the main reasons we rented. It is easy to bring in everything to the elevator and take to the appropriate floors. It is nice to have the hallway from the beach to catch stray sand. ALSO the separation of the 2nd floor bedrooms and the 4th floor bedrooms was a great idea. The 3rd floor is a noise buffer for kids. We also appreciated the management company immediately responding with glassware (we had no wine glasses... ) and fixing the oven door. I loved that this was the easiest beach access house I have ever stayed in. There are only 5-6 steps to the sand! We found ourselves using the stairs in the house rather than the elevator, so that was a little difficult to walk 4 flights after the beach, but you can't have a house that big on one floor in Destin. There were a few irritations such as a broken toilet paper dispenser, a sink that would not drain, difficult to flush toilets, difficult ice-maker, and most importantly- a used tampon in the garage( I know that is difficult to believe, but imagine how we felt!) . This lack of "attention to detail" in a $12,000/week house was confusing. Overall, I am divided. It was great, but we paid for it. Had it been reduced to $5000 like it was this week, I would not have worried, but for what the summer-season asks - everything better be put on a silver platter.

We had a family of 6 traveling for spring break. 4 adults 2 teenagers Plenty of room for everyone, could have accommodated others. The house had everything we needed. I was very thankful for the elevator to avoid carrying our heavy luggage up the stairs. Walking out the backdown down to the beach was so nice! The entire stay was really great! The house is conveniently located by many places to eat and things to do on days we didn't go on the beach. We would book this house again!

After booking with vrbo 10 months in advance, I received a call that my original reservation was not available- unhappy owner - literally 4 days before our vacation!!!! Fortunately, there were 2 options, I choose this one. Oh My Goodness, FANTASTIC. We had three of our sons - two married, one with infant and friends join us from Ohio. 2 master bedrooms All 4bedrooms have full bath. This place is pretty close to perfection ?

Amazing home on the beach. Loved the location, beautiful view of beach from every room in the home, loved the roof top deck. Lots of stairs, elevator worked most of the time. Pool is smaller than we expected but great for just cooling off. Love the open layout of the kitchen, dining room and living room. Easily accommodates everyone in the home for gathering. We had 13,fits 10 in beds and 3 on sofa sleepers. George in maintenance was great! Called him for 2 issues and had someone on it within an hour of contacting. Will definitely book this house again!!! Would not recommend for children under 6 yrs old.

Our experience was great, even thoughfew things in the house were not working properly:<br/>1. The elevator never worked, <br/>2. The two acc's in the room areas were not cooling, a technitian went to fix it during our stay, but it only cooled better for the next 24 hrs., after that period of time the acc's were not cooling properly again<br/>3. Too many roaches, lots of them, that is very unconfortable.<br/>Great location and property, our family had a blast even though the things mentioned before were not nice at all. Jennifer was of great help!<br/>

We were unable to take our trip. I contacted the rental company the week before to let them know we would not be able to make it due to a medical issue with my son. I got an email back, I tried multiple times to contact you by phone no one ever answers your phones. I sent an email asking if we could get reimbursed for the cleaning fees and pets as no stayed in the house. I never got a reply. I did not expect to receive a full reimbursement but the lack of customer response is disappointing. Being charge almost $1000 in fees that relate to someone being in the house? We travel often as of today I will never use or suggest your company. I can't rate the house .

There were a few minor issues which the mgt. company remedied ASAP. Overall, we loved being on the beach and near any shopping we needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Pros:<br/>-Reservations process was entirely electronic<br/>-Interior layout of house is good<br/>-Home furnishings are mostly decent<br/>-Interior design of house is comfortable<br/>-House is close to many conveniences <br/><br/>Cons:<br/>-Info for home on electronic app is not accurate (advertises garage parking but there&#x2019;s no way to access it, WiFi is unsecured rather than needing the password provided, etc.)<br/>-Messaged a basic question through the app and never rec&#x2019;d a response. <br/>-Neighborhood/area is rundown, homes in disrepair, trash everywhere<br/>-Beach is crowded by 10:00A, we were constantly picking up others&#x2019; trash, and at one point a man walked right up to our house and urinated on it<br/>-Interior of house wasn&#x2019;t filthy, but there was black dog hair all over the Master comforter which certainly made us wonder about linens laundering frequency<br/>-Exterior of house was surrounded by huge piles of dog feces and trash<br/>-House has some deferred maintenance (burned out lightbulbs on porch and stairwells, broken table in Master closet, etc)<br/>-Back door will not close unless bolt lock is engaged. We were not given a key to the door, so every time we went to the beach the back door was literally open the whole time.

Rental experience was great. Staff was friendly and informative. Will use the service again. However, the house itself is a mixed review. LOVED the space, the rooms, the layout, the rooftop deck! The kitchen was great to cook in as we are all foodies. Could not have asked for a more beautiful location. But... not as clean as I would like, problems with the pool (which was much smaller than we thought), garbage pickup skipped us both days and saw some roaches. Attention to detail on cleaning (i.e. under the couches) would be recommended.

The House was nice and mostly clean minus some roaches and mold and dirty dishes. We did have a wonderful vacation until<br/>The last day of our stay when I made the mistake of asking guest services if we could be afforded the same courtesy and stay in the house for an extended period as our flight delayed. The previous guests were there until 1:30. That is when I was continuously insulted through text messages by guest services. This person made sure to let me know what a terrible and selfish person I was to even even ask to stay longer.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. House was perfect for our ladies weekend and can't wait to visit again!

Our daughter wanted a destination beach wedding and George and Patti helped make it happen. We held the small wedding (30 guests) on the beach. It was so quiet compared to other beach locations we visited in Destin. There is a (hardly used) public beach access two doors up, which was perfect for guests not staying with us to access the wedding site. The house itself is amazing and perfectly set up to give privacy to family coming together from all over. The stairs are the most convenient, but the elevator was convenient for guests with mobility issues (and unloading luggage and groceries). As with all other VRBO's you need to bring your own beach towels and salt/pepper shakers...but the kitchen was fully stocked with the cooking essentials. The bagel toaster and Keurig were used every day. The washer/dryer were quick and convenient...even though no one was originally planning on using them. The outdoor shower and foot rinse station were perfectly placed to minimize sand in the house. I would highly recommend this location and this rental group to anyone.
