The condo is exactly like the pictures and has everything and more that you will need for your stay. This has to have the best view of any places around. We even got to see whales and turtles! We will definitely come back.

We had everything we needed for our stay. Good location and convenient! My only issue was that it the floor could have been cleaner. There was quite a bit of dust and hair that didn’t belong to us.

This was our 5th time renting this condominium in Maui. We absolutely love the unit. Watching the turtles under the lanai, as well as surfers. We love starting our day by climbing down the rocks next to the outdoor common deck and diving into the beautiful ocean, walking across the street to buy groceries at Times market, and frequenting the little restaurants in the strip mall. Thank you for a very relaxing and beautiful week

Maui Kai 1005 was perfect for our first return to Maui since we're vaccinated and Covid restrictions are easing. We have stayed at the Maui Kai most years in many different condos for the past 20 years and 1005 was one of the nicest. We stayed for 9 nights in mid- May, a first for us as our usual travel to Maui is December. It was a bit more of a chore to travel to Maui this time; however, downloading the Hawaii Safe Travel app and receiving instructions from Epic Realty gave us the specific requirements for travel. Our travel to Maui went smoothly. The condo was spotless, with newer furniture and appliances and it was in great condition. The bed was comfortable and we slept well in air conditioned comfort since we had some warm, humid days during our stay. The best part of this condo is the million dollar, direct ocean view from the open lanai on the top floor. We spent most mornings and evenings watching turtles, fish, sunsets, catamaran cruises, surfers, snorkelers and other activities happening in the ocean. We enjoyed most of our usual Maui activities: swimming in the Maui Kai pool and nearby beaches, taking lots of walks on the beach and boardwalk, shopping and eating some favorite foods. Sadly restaurants were at only 30% capacity, so we weren't able to eat in, but take out was available. We love Fish Market Maui for fresh local fish which they will prepare for you in a foil pan ready to bake in oven. We love their macadamia nut crust topped with Thai chili butter on mild fish like opakapaka or mahi-mahi. Another favorite place is Maui Prime where you can get high quality steaks, burgers seafood and fish. We made good use of the grills by the pool on this trip. Since we prepared more meals on this trip, we were happy the condo had a well equipped kitchen and even some spices. Epic Reality was professional, friendly and available to answer our questions. We will definitely look forward to another trip to Maui Kai soon.

The Condo was beautiful and in a perfect location to services. We stayed two weeks and wished more paper products would have been left there (toilet tissue and paper towels) and since change was not available onsite for the waher and dryer we wished we had known in advance to brirng quarters for the machines. Unfortunately we stayed during the HUGE influx in travers over Spring Break so rental cars were non-existant, Cabs, Uber and Lyft were extremely limited, but we were able to use the city bus and the bus stop was very near by. None of the restaurants throughout the island had available reservations during our stay so we found dropping at a few of the nearby and walkable restaurants for a late lunch often worked with minimum wait. All excursions were booked solid and unavailble for new reservations as well. Caution to those traveling now to book excursions and restaurants before coming to Maui.

Excellent place to stay. Would have given 5 stars to general condition, but the patio chair arm rests were flaking paint and sticking to our arms. They could use a sanding and re-paint. Otherwise the property was incredible. Bed was wonderful. The kitchen was up to date with nice appliances, and cable tv/internet in living room/bedroom was nice at night. House was equipped with beach chairs, boogie boards and pool float.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary in Maui. We rented Maui Kai 1005 for the location on the ocean. We could not have been more pleased. The unit was updated, clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen and for the beach! The property managers were very nice and helpful. We loved relaxing on the lanai! I definitely recommend this unit to anyone who prioritizes location, view, and value!

We have stayed at the Maui Kai ten times over the past 25 years and 1005 was our favourite unit. The view looking straight down into the ocean and out to the neighbouring islands that you get with all units is unforgettable. While 1005 lacks views down the coast that you get with the corner apartments, it is wider and roomier. Another big plus is that balcony has shades that can be lowered to moderate the afternoon sun - you can lower the shade on one side and have out the other side. Other nice touches included beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, ice chest/blue ice and USB chargers. The furniture and appliances are top notch, and the unit was spotless.

Beautiful condo, excellent views, total privacy, walking distance to food trucks, and shopping center with many restaurants and ice cream.. 10 min Uber to Front St Lahaina and 5 min walk to the beach. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay. The condo is private, quiet, and right over the ocean. Everything was perfect, from the well appointed kitchen to the comfy bedroom & the nice balcony. It was a perfect fit for a couple. It was clean and bright. Kaanapali is the best place to swim & snorkel. It's also in a very convenient location for groceries and restaurants.

We stayed for 4 nights in mid July and the property was everything as advertised. You can walk to quite a few places to eat and you're staying right on the water with sunset views and 3 islands. Nothing else is needed.

We visit Hawaii often, but this was our first trip back to Maui in 3 years. We generally stay in Kahana, but this Honoakawai condo proved to be far more convenient. Being able to walk to a proper supermarket, several good restaurants, and an array of food trucks right next door was great. There is no beach right at the condo because of the erosion problems all over West Maui, but there is a park 20 yards away with a swimmable beach. The Maui Kai has laundry facilities on every other floor, so you can pack light. Remember that you'll need to wash your bath towels even if you have plenty of clothing, so bring lots and lots of quarters! They are harder to come by than you might think. The photo taken from the patio really does not do justice to the view. It's a great place to sit with some coffee or a glass of wine (and a package of Cook-Wees) and watch the sunset. The condo comes complete with everything you'll need for a day at the beach: a mat, two chairs, two umbrellas, a cooler, and even a couple of "noodles." All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

The condo is beautiful and was as nice as the pictures portrayed it. It was well supplied, very clean and furniture seemed brand new. An unexpected perk were the beach chairs with an umbrella, small cooler and couple beach towels. The bed was super comfortable and the condo was very spacious.

Being right on the ocean and on the top floor made the experience amazing. The sound of the waves coming ashore is so relaxing. Watching the sunset on the lanai was a beautiful experience that we got to repeat every evening on our trip. After dark we continued to sit out there as the stars and the moon lit up the sky. In the mornings, we watched the surfers and the outrigger canoes go by.

There is a small beach right next to the condos or you could take quick dip in the pool. Sitting in the hot tub was a good way to end our day. Also, there is a shower available to rise off the sand before going to the condo. The cabana area is clean and has grills for use.

Great location. The farmers market and a few shops are just a short walk away. The boardwalk is close so you could walk to Dukes for lunch.

Eric Realty's customer service was top notch and the handy book they left in the condo helped us plan an excursion and a few excellent dinner recommendations. We recommend the Road to Hana trip, the blowhole at Nakele Point and dinner at Fleetwoods.

When we return we would definitely stay is this condo again.
