This condo is exactly as pictured. Great location walking distance to Canyon Lodge, cozy beds, clean and heat and fireplace work great. We would stay here again!
This is a place I will keep in mind to come back again. We go to mammoth every year and there is nothing more comfortable than to feel welcome and safe at home. The office staff were very nice and welcoming to me and my children. This is my experience with this company and rental. I highly recommend this place
Condo was well stocked with kitchen utensils and cookware which I greatly appreciated since we like to eat at home. I had only 2 issues. First is that there are no screens on the sliding doors so we could not enjoy the outside air also the doors don’t have locks. Second I would have liked to have a sponge or handiwipe for the bathrooms so I didn’t have to use one of the washcloths.
The location is a 10-minute walk to Canyon Lodge - This is where you can rent gear, take ski lessons, and take the Village Condala to other parts of the town.

The Austrian Hoff Restaurant and bar is a 5-minute walk away and was our evening goto for after-ski drinks and dinner for every night of our stay.

The house was clean and will easily fit 6 adults: 2 bedrooms and a pull-out sofa bed.

The apartment can be a little tricky to find, I recommend using a door-to-door transport service when arriving for the first time (Unless you are driving yourself using google maps).

All in all, we had a great stay and will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip.

Pro-Tip: The apartment is on a slight hill when walking down to Canyon Lodge from the front door - consider walking up the hill to the small car park - you will find steps leading down to the main road - this is a faster and easier walk then taking the main road directly down.

This condo is exactly as pictured. Great location walking distance to Canyon Lodge, cozy beds, clean and heat and fireplace work great. We would stay here again!
Clean, comfortable. I expected this -- there are no laundry machine inside condo or grill. Bring your own al foil, plastic wrap, sheet pans, containers, serving tongs, black pepper, oil, spices.
Overall, this was a trip to remember the past when my father would bring the family north to fish the eastern sierra lakes and streams.
Great cabin experience
Easy access into the Condo, very spacious. Suited all of us comfortably. Loved the wood burning fireplace. Very close to Canyon lodge making it almost ski in ski out. Check in and Check out were smooth and simple. Would love to stay again.
The condo was a cozy mountain home-away-from-home for our family. Everything was just perfect!
Nice condo, has everything you need. Seemed like it was updated pretty recently (carpet, bathrooms, kitchen sink, appliances etc). Comfortable beds and sofa. Everything was very clean. We really enjoyed walking to the village every evening (about a 20 min walk)
Good condo for two couples or a small family. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked (I wish they had larger mugs for morning coffee). I'm a big fan of Mammoth Sierra Reservations.
The Condo was super clean and cozy. Had everything we needed.Lots of bedding. Close to everything and would diffently recommend.
Unit was great. It was nice to have tv mounted on a moveable arm. There were no ice trays and a spatula. We had a chipmunk intruder; be sure to close door quickly.
Great
Stayed for three nights and enjoyed fantastic hiking out of Red's Meadow trailhead then biking at Mammoth Lakes basin.
Overall very happy. Great location to Canyon Lodge and Lifts.Things to keep in ind, wish we paid attention to...Laundry facilities at office and coin-op.Complimentary Gym is ~2 miles away.
The condo was warm and very comfortable. Walking distance to Canyon Lodge was key for our group. The sleeping accommodations were perfect for our crew, and there was plenty of space to spread out.
This is our second stay at Mammoth West #111. I was thrilled to find it available for our ski trip. We love the location and the electric blankets on the beds.
My family has been Returning to Mammoth West for many years. The location is unbeatable. Easy walk to Canyon Lodge. The units ( we have stayed in many different ones) are all very nice and well appointed. Large hot tub and a sauna room. Washer&dryer available on site. A great value also
Everything was great but trash bin from previous stay wasn't emptied prior to our arrival. Twin bed was a bit uncomfortable. Perhaps the mattress is old or too soft.
It would have been appreciated if we were pre-warned by the reservation person that the unit was located up a steep hill and that chains might be required. The roads did not require chains, but to get to our unit and unpack and pack our car we needed chains to get to our unit. This put a damper on our trip.
Great place to stay. Very reasonable.
This was a very clean, well kept condo with fresh-ish paint and carpet. Kitchen was fairly well stocked, and there was just enough room for our group of 4 to feel very comfortable. For Skiing, the location would be great (although I'd recommend a 4x4). Our group was on a road biking tour, and for that purpose, it was too far out of the way and too far up hill. :) As others have mentioned in reviews, I would bring a few coffee filters and paper towels.
my only complaint was there weren't any coffee filters. They're not expensive, but I didn't want to have to buy a packet of 100 when I only needed 4.
We arrived during a snowstorm so we accepted that the road up to the condo was not passable. However, the description for the condo states two parking spaces and no where does it explain the distance to the condo. Hauling luggage, food, kids and ski equiptment up a steep hill was not something expected and for the price of the condo, we were not satisfied. The master bedroom bed mattress needs to be replaced and the heating system provided either too much heat or you could practically see your breath downstairs in the bedroom areas. The walk to the canyon lodge is a bit of a trek and with young children and ski gear, I would not recommend this unit.
There is a few things that people should know to bring with them or get at the store... Napkins, Plunger, coffee filters, etc. The location was great, easy walk to Canyon Lodge. It was perfect for 3 people.
The condo was clean and comfortable with new carpet. It's a 7-10 minute walk to Canyon Lodge. We enjoyed the jacuzzi. Electric blankets on the bed were nice.
Location a bit far from town but shuttle service is consistent for the blues festival. Very close to lifts for winter.
Overall a good place to stay. Rental agreement stated there would be paper towels, a bit surprised no paper towels & only 1 dish towel...not convenient with 2 kids and an infant. Difficult to get a hold of someone once you are there.
Very satisfied with our stay.
We enjoyed our stay in this condo. Everything was clean and in good shape as promised. Location is very convenient to Canyon Lodge, and property manager was very nice. Only minor gripe is that the kitchen was missing paper towels and a dishrag/sponge.
Nice place when booked for a discount. 5min walk to Canyon Lodge, 15min to the village.
Not a super sunny/light gathering location nor great views, but conviniently located and decently priced made up for it.
Only thing was starting a fire with no hatchet, lighter or fire starter - get creative.
We stay at this comdo and I was surprised for the beautiful place, the cute neighborhood and the confortable and super clean rooms and diferents areas. I brought my family from venezuela and they were amazed. Also the buy two nights get one free is really a good deal. I'm totally planning on coming back.
Location is great, near Canyon Lodge, but condo is 1980s with no updates and minimal maintenance. Kitchen and baths with absolute minimum equipment, not even paper towels or blow dryer.
For the price I though it was going to be very basic but it was a lovely apartment, very cosy, clean, well maintained and with all the facilities you need.
While the condo can use a little updating, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the pictures are very accurate. Very easy to get to Canyon Lodge and take the gondola down to the village. Also, the Family Trivial Pursuit was a hit!
Loved the greeting at the front desk by the friendly Golden Retriever.
Very clean and comfortable stay
Great locations and very clean . I definitely will be returning
Everything was as good as expected. It was not our first stay at Mammoth West and hopefully won't be the last. The location is excellent and the price is reasonable. Jacuzzi was good, but a bit too hot. The condo is clean and nice. Internet worked well. The only downside of Mammoth West is that there aren't any 1-bedroom condos. But if your party is more than just a couple, two or more bedrooms will provide all you need to enjoy your stay to lifts.
We enjoyed the rental very much. It was ready when we arrived the heat was turned on when we arrived. The unit was well maitained the bathroom really empressed me as they were spotless. It could use a new tv and possible ones in the bedrooms.
My Husband and I rented this condo for four nights in June and had a really nice stay. The condo was very clean and much nicer that a hotel. The only issue that came up is the windows in both bedrooms let in a ton of sunlight, so no sleeping in unless you bring sleep masks! I would highly recommend this condo.
Great location, clean and nice. A bit updated but served us very well.
Thanks you
Overall, the condo is a little outdated but adequate and at a great location. It was the least stocked kitchen I have seen in a condo (bring everything except pots and pans, plates, glasses and utensils). Heating is excellent. The property management is first class. Nice hot tub. The owner of the condo I met not by fortune but because he decided to occupy the condo during the time that I had reserved and paid for the property. He stated he was the owner, and invited me in to make telephone calls, but essentially conveyed it was our responsibility to find somewhere else because he was there.
Thankfully, the property management company rectified the situation quickly and he was out in less than 45 minutes. The owner of the company even bought us dinner. But, I would strongly suggest arriving before the office closes in case this happens to you!
For skiing, this location is hard to beat for the price. You can walk to Canyon or drive and park in premier for $20. Either way it is very convenient.
We enjoyed how clean the property was and how close we were to everything. I would stay here again no doubt.
