We stayed for five nights at this condo/apartment in Kona Plaza. The underground parking garage was great to keep the car cool for our daily outings. Upon entering the condo, we were greeted with a little gift basket with some snacks and toiletries. Everything seemed clean and brightly lit. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances (coffee machine, toaster, microwave, etc) and basic utensils. Washer & dryer worked great and very useful. The lanai was well stocked with beach ready equipment (wagon, boogie boards, chairs, sand toys... and even SUPs) plus patio furniture was comfortable, especially the hammock!<br/><br/>The management communicated and responded quickly by text. We were even allowed to check-in a bit early.<br/><br/>Overall, we had a comfortable stay. The location is very convenient to walk to many shops and restaurants (ABC stores, multiple shave ice shops, Kona Farmer Market, etc).
This place was perfect for our family of 4. Kids slept on the pullout and we had our own room. The place was loaded with beach toys, kitchen wel stocked, and management colony and owner very accommodating and attentive to our needs. We’d come back!
This was an amazing location and a very comfortable place to stay. The Bed was very relaxing and the large patio was great for us to eat and hang out in the evenings. The home looked to be recently updated from the pictures and when we arrived it was exactly like the pictures! We walked up and down the Kona strip and the parking garage was very easy to access to get in and out of for our adventures. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Beautiful and updated condo, conveniently located in the heart of downtown Kona. The beach toys available were over my expectations, and very enjoyable.<br/><br/>Although the no contact check in is easy, the code to the lock box for initial key entry into the condo can only be used once. I would recommend the code for the lock box stay programmed throughout the stay in case the condo keys get locked inside the unit.<br/><br/>I stay at the Kona Plaza every time time I visit the Big Island, and every time a parking placard is not available. I would recommend that this be on a check list and confirmed in the condo before the next visitors.
I travel often enough, and experienced many a vacation rentals. What an amazing experience and location! <br/><br/>Basically, I didn't want to drive too much but wanted to be close enough to Alii Dr that I could walk to it. The location was about halfway point - which was perfect for going to the few beaches on Alii Dr, or heading out for a nightcap in the evenings.<br/><br/>Altho I was by myself this trip, the place itself was great for me, but would have still worked if my husband and 7 y.o. came with me. The rental included beach and laundry items, and cleaning supplies, which turned out too be quite useful.<br/><br/>I would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone. It was clean and well organized (this coming from someone with "OCD's"). My next trip to Kona, I will be checking on this location first for sure!!
Had an amazing stay in this central Kona condo. Walking distance to restaurants, beaches, and shopping. Place was spotless on arrival and well set up to prepare food/ meals. Patio was a great sunny place to relax. Underground parking was a plus and loved all the beach gear provided. Pool was great for cooling off after a long day at the beach. Would not hesitate to recommend this condo to others!

This property is in a great location in the heart of Kona with walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the water. This place has parking which is a plus for a car rental. I would definitely stay at this property again.
The apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is excellent. It is very centrally and conveniently located in Kailua village whilst also being quiet.<br/>The downside is the booking/contracting process. I booked online, including paying a non-refundable deposit. The following day I received a demand to sign, in about 16 different spots, a contract. There was no indication during the booking process that a contract would be required. To send a contract after a non-refundable deposit has been taken is simply wrong. I am a regular Airbnb user and have never been required to sign a contract additional to the Airbnb terms and conditions. Additionally the contract had internal inconsistencies, particularly around property access by the manager.<br/>Communications about rules applying to the property could also be simplified. The messages tended to be long and overly strongly worded, almost threatening. Shorten, simplify and keep it concise.
This was such a cute and cozy condo. I loved how it was so close to everything! You literally walk a block and you’re at the center of everything, restaurants, shopping, ocean. <br/>You can tell that the owners put a lot of effort into remodeling and maki g it look more modern, even considering that the building itself is somewhat old & outdated. <br/>If we ever return to the Big Island, I would definitely consider renting this place again!
Comfortable and cozy home with everything you could need and more; lots of hangers, two storage/dresser units, and ample parking. The complex residents were very friendly and helpful too. Good communication with Property Mgt. thru out stay.<br/>This was our 2nd stay in this complex, and hope to return if available.
