The place was exactly as pictured. Loved being so close to the ocean. Kitchen had everything you need. Parking super convenient. Loved the beach being so close and Kona was but a few miles away. Also loved the park right next door. Would definitely go back again. Thanks!!

We loved the location, the place was clean, had chairs and some snorkel gear and ice chest. Amazing surf sounds. . Enjoyed making pancakes with gist bag mix. Restaurant in building is great too.

We stayed at Magic Sands #213. Condo was small but for just the two of us it was fine. This condo is a ocean front property with large sliding glass doors and screen doors to keep open all night for your wave listening pleasure. The ocean views/sunsets did not disappoint. Full kitchen accessories with well stocked kitchenware, coffeemaker, toaster, and mixer. Bathroom was adequate but nothing over the top. Could use some updating but all in all it’s a decent place to hang for the week. Condo came with beach chairs, snorkel gear, and a cooler which was perfect for our beach hopping. We left a beach umbrella for future guests. There is a swimming pool and a small beach next to the condo. There is also a decent restaurant and cafe as well. No issues and we would return for a second go around. Good location being just a bit south of old town Kailua, Kona.

Unbeatable ocean front view, opened the slider to the sight and sound of the Pacific. This was the perfect base for big island activities and food. Great little beach right next to the property!

The location is right next to a good boogie boarding beach and close to kona. The room is nice, and clean. And the decor has moved a bit from the pictures, but is a wonderful place to stay

The rental location is absolutely perfect. The ocean views and sunsets make the rental amazing. Listening to the waves at night. Knutson and Associates were beyond accommodating. They called to welcome me and also dropped off some things they thought I may need. The kitchen is equipped to do light meals in. Although some furniture dated; the condo was clean and absolutely worth every penny. A beach next door was ideal, hourly bike rental location across the street if you are up for a bike to the more popular shopping area, and most of my snorkeling was in a 15 min drive. When I come to the Big Island this will be my go to place.

My rental worked out great! It&#x2019;s nestled between two beaches with a park on one side. I had a great time dancing in the park. It was the silent disco.<br/><br/>Kona Magic Sands is a great location for enjoying the day and sleeping at night.

The room was good as expected from the pictures etc. You can watch some amazing sunsets from the window.<br/>It's also right by the Magic Grill, for which you get a 10% discount of food with your room key. They did great food and drink, which you can consume looking out over the beach/sea.<br/>Nothing else walking distance, but it's only a 10 minute drive/taxi to Kailua Kona.<br/>If you stay in for an evening there's a very basic kitchen and a modern TV so you can login to any major service like netflix, etc.<br/>Be aware the windows aren't very soundproof, so the sea is quite loud at night. If that's not your thing, definitely bring earplugs.

This is a really great place to stay. Awesome views and the beach next door was the absolute best. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking. Beach items provided as well. The restaurant and beach bar right next door was very convenient. Highly recommend.

Place was in a great location. Doors opened to the ocean and right next to Magic Sands Beach. Close to plenty of restaurants in Kona that were a quick drive.

The building is older and the floor slopes where it seems they made the lanai into a bed nook. Perfect sunsets and rainbows, crashing waves. There's a snorkeling beach next door and better one a couple of miles away. Very fully furnished kitchen. TKA Grocery store nearby with very fresh poke and produce. Snorkel gear, beach chair and umbrella were very useful. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, it was a great experience. But if you are planning to use this place to stay, they have moved the furniture around, so don't be surprised. They have a couple of new couches, but an old worn ottoman (hope they replace it. Otherwise, the place was exactly as portrayed, but the view is even more fantastic than the pics show.

We had everything we needed for the beach, which is right next door, for cooking and making smoothies, even Netflix for chillin. The ocean breeze and sound of the waves all day everyday was such a treat for our much needed souls. Great space and location, especially for the price. We would definitely come to Kona Magic Sands again! The rental agency was attentive and the process was easy. Thank you so much.

South Kona beckons and this condo is an outstanding base to start your adventures from. You cannot rent any closer to the waves of Magic Sands Beach and if staying local most everything you need is in walking distance or a bike ride away (bike share rental across the street). The Kona Magic Sands is a beloved place to stay by many over the decades. This particular condo is right above the surf ... the floor to ceiling sliding doors bring in the colors and sounds of the waves and ocean ... you can even see the fish swimming in front and whales breaching offshore in the winter months. Condo is well appointed with kitchen and cooking ware. It has a cozy living room and super comfortable queen bed right at waters edge. There is a little desk area if you bring your work and also a dining table to eat your meals while enjoying the view. And again ... location! This condo is right next to best bodysurfing beach on Big Island. And after you surf you can have a delicious meal at Magic's Grill located in the Kona Magic Sands building. Thank you again!
