Kona Isle C38 was perfect for two adults. The location was convenient to everything. The ocean view and crashing waves was better than expected. We didn’t have any issues during our stay but the rental company checked in with us to ensure we had what we needed. We would stay here again.

Kona Isle C38 is everything you want in a short term island rental. Really, the pictures and description do not give this place its due. Yes, most agents say the same things about all of their properties, but this spot hits the spot. <br/>The unit is well appointed and tastefully decorated. One very nice feature is dual air conditioners for the living area and bedroom that actually work! The patio provides a nice view of the ocean and pool area. It was a great place to hang out and eat breakfast or read a book. The unit is close enough to the ocean to hear even the small waves and very peaceful at night, so much so that if you leave your window open the waves lull you to sleep and there really isn't much additional noise.<br/>The property is extremely well kept with the pool, pool furniture and beach furniture cleaned every morning. The resident manager is very friendly. <br/>If we return to Kona, this unit will be the place we will stay again.

This property is beautiful. Location is great. Might be tight for four people but perfect for two.

It was so great staying at this condo. I loved top floor view from the patio. Close and easy access to the pool. The location was great and close to town but away from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely stay here again!!!

The condo was very clean, and decorated nicely. The kitchen was beautiful, and had pots and pans and all the dishes we needed. Having a washer/dryer in unit was an absolute life saver with how much swimming we did. The AC worked great and we loved that we could keep the bedroom at a different temperature than the rest of the living space since the kids like it warmer than we do. The lanai was cute, and so close to the ocean (feels closer than it looks in the pictures). Nice little private beach area with some chairs, great spot to watch the sunset. The only thing we didn&#x2019;t love was that the bedroom and bathroom door were both slatted instead of solid so there was absolutely no noise privacy. You could hear every sounds from all areas of the condo. Wouldn&#x2019;t likely be an issue for a couple, but for a family of four, it was not ideal, and something I wish I&#x2019;d known before booking. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Kona Isle is a nice and quiet complex on Ali'i Drive about a mile from downtown Kailua-Kona. The condo was as described and was clean throughout upon our arrival. It's tastefully decorated, lanai has a fridge, and an efficient AC is a big plus (for the summer.) Kitchen had all cooking items needed that were in great shape (no peeling nonstick pans here) and all the plates, utensils, silverware, glasses and cups galore. The private oceanfront bbq area was great for cooking and picnics, especially while watching the beautiful Big Island sunsets. The condo property was clean and well maintained. I always saw the resident manager up and about very early in the morning taking care of things around the complex. Be aware that quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. There are also full time residents that live at the complex as well and they value that quiet. Besides, you get to listen to the ocean waves breaking on the shoreline rocks below. We felt the condo size was perfect for two adults though it's listed for four. Knutson and Associates is an excellent company to work with on the rental. They are timely in their correspondence (via email and text.) We would use them again in the future.

We spent 3 weeks here and loved everything about Kona Isle! The property is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the pool, the BBQs, and the oceanside chairs with umbrellas! It was great to go down to the ocean and watch the sunset with other visitors. Our living space was perfect. It was very clean and well furnished with pretty Hawaiian decor throughout. We loved this place and know that we WILL return!

It was amazing. I had a few questions why we were staying there and I emailed them and they got back to me super quick. They were super good at communicating with us as well. It was way clean inside and lots of kitchen things to use so you can make cheaper meals at home. I would definitely recommend staying here. One of the things we enjoyed about it was how close we were to the ocean. We also enjoyed how close it was to downtown Kona. Really easy to get places from this VRBO. I will say though my favorite thing was the view, it was so amazing.
