The view is amazing, the location is very convenient, and the condo was very clean. It didn't really impact our stay, but the condo could use some updates - the furniture is a little worn, outlets didn't always work, and the bed linens could stand to be replaced (bath linens were great). Kitchen was well appointed (but the coffee pot also needs to be replaced). Overall we had a great stay.

Two weeks in Kona was perfect! Great weather and the view of the ocean can’t be beat. The condo is nice but starting to look a little worn around the edges. The condo is well supplied with the basics for an island get away. There weren’t any beach towels so we had to buy some. The kitchen had the necessary equipment. The Surf and Racket Club is beautiful and maintained well. We like it so much we are coming back next year.

This condo's location was excellent...falling asleep to the sounds of the waves was heavenly, and the grounds, pool area and courts well kept. We had an issue with the kitchen blinds and the repair man was prompt and very courteous. Sadly, the condo itself is looking VERY tired, with the walls needing a full clean/paint job, the carpet being filthy and the dishwasher filter that my husband cleaned was absolutely disgusting, and obviously not cleaned in a LONG time. Being a wood structure, you could hear the folks upstairs, but not to the point of being annoying at all. Overall we loved our time here.

We always have had the best experience with Knutson and Associates and this was no exception! The resort was in great condition, a tropical paradise! The condo was in great condition also and we enjoyed our stay very much, but it should always be longer !

The condo was great and had plenty of space for our family of 4. Gorgeous ocean views and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was amazing. Plenty of beach equipment with chairs and umbrella. Nice condo for 4 adults. Very spacious family area, but kitchen was a little small. But had all the amenities, except for an ice maker. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were fine, and patio is very large with nice view of the ocean.

We had a great experience at the Condo. The view was amazing and we enjoyed watching the sunset each night right on the water. The Condo Managers were easy to work with and I would stay there again.

We stayed in Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club (#3202) for the Kona Ironman World Championship for about 2 weeks, The unit was just what we needed and made for the perfect stay. This second-floor unit overlooks the ocean. The view was spectacular with beautiful sunsets and a walking path along the ocean. The grounds were immaculate and well maintained. The unit did not have AC, but, honestly, we thoroughly enjoyed the ocean breezes and falling asleep to the sounds of the waves. The location is very convenient being close to a shopping center, restaurants, and everything you could need within a few minutes. The condo was well stocked with items we needed to prepare our own meals (which we did several times). I loved having breakfast out on the lanai. Hoping to return again.

We love the KKSR & have stayed there multiple times but were less than impressed with this condo due to the carpet being very dirty, which should have been easily fixed before our arrival. There wasn't enough laundry soap for our use but we decided to be good guests though & washed the bedding & towels, then took home our dirty laundry. <br/><br/>We were also surprised about 2 months before our trip with a steep raise in the rates when there wasn't really anywhere else left to stay at a reasonable rate. Luckily, we were able to negotiate a more reasonable rate since we'd booked more than 6 months earlier.<br/><br/>One great thing about this condo though was how comfortable the temperature was. By just running the ceiling fans and the cross-ventilation, the temperature stayed really comfortable. The ocean view can't be beat & the stars at night were amazing! We watched dolphins frolic & loved the location to area attractions.

This was our second stay at KKSR, first time in this unit. Attractive beach house style furnishings and of course a wonderful ocean view. The grounds are well kept and private, with easy access to a nearby beach with good tidepools. Short drive or moderate walk to Kahaluu Beach Park for snorkeling. Mall just up the hill has all the necessities. We enjoyed the pool, tennis and ping pong and had pleasant interactions with residents and other guests. One small maintenance issue was fixed promptly by Knutson. We would happily stay here again.

Beautiful ocean front stay conveniently located on a lovely property. There is no AC, but a nice breeze. But, you can feel the lack of AC if that&#x2019;s something you&#x2019;re looking for.

We are 2 adult women, world travelers and bffs for 50 years. We rent condos and houses worldwide when we travel. Our experience at Unit 3202 could not have been better. There was plenty of room, the lanai an absolute treat for relaxing, and stargazing at night and we loved the location (close to town but not in it) - we loved it all. The grounds were amazing, we even discovered ancient tiki's keeping watchful eyes over the queen's bath as we strolled the black sand beach! Personal recommendation - if you're considering Nighttime Manta Ray it! Amazing! We had one minor snafu, but a text was immediately responded to, and everything taken care of. We really appreciated that too. We would not hesitate to share this place with friends, and we're already talking about our next trip.

Pros: View is absolutely amazing and great place to enjoy morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Place is very well stocked. Just about all you could want in kitchen! Cons: Very well used (read "worn"). Carpet could especially use replacing both inside and out on balcony. Very thin walls, ceiling, floors. Can hear every footstep of people upstairs, so tried to step lightly ourselves to keep the noise down for the people downstairs from us. Overall, it was a really great place to stay. Views are truly amazing and the price was certainly good.

I stayed in this condo during the month of September 2021 and found it extremely comfortable and relaxing. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and secure. I loved sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean, and enjoyed swimming in the pool everyday and walking around the beautiful grounds. The property is just a 5-minute drive from a shopping center that has a Longs Drugs, a number of restaurants, a great grocery store (KTA) and a farmer's market on Saturdays not to be missed. I hope to return soon!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo at the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club. The location couldn't be better for our getaway ...close to a great snorkeling beach and to groceries and restaurants and a prime waterfront location. The grounds are very well kept and the pool is nice. Condo had everything we needed ...the kitchen especially was well stocked...and communication with Blake, the manager, was very smooth.

My wife and two kids stayed in 3-202 in late March/early April. It was difficult to find a 2 BD/2 BA condo with two twin beds, so this was perfect. Considering the location right next to ocean, it was also a great value. We loved the view, waves and sunsets! The condo felt fairly spacious and very comfortable. The large lanai was fantastic and where we spent most of our time when not out exploring. If you walk north through the parking lot you will find a path to a small beach. Nice to visit and enjoy the ocean, but not really a spot to swim/snorkel. You can do that only a few miles north at the nearby park and also magic sand beach (be sure to check out the beach shack for breakfast and grill for lunch or happy hour). The kitchen had what we needed, furniture and beds were comfortable, cable tv and wifi worked no problems. The unit had 3 chairs and we left 2 additional chairs and a boogie board. Be sure to bring your own tennis, pickleball and ping pong equipment if you want to take advantage of the awesome courts. Pool was great, too. Finally, very good customer service and prompt calls/texts. PS: if you like tacos, be sure to hit up Shaka Tacos around 10 min drive south. Aloha!

We had an amazing stay at the Keauhou Kona surf and racquet club. Everything exceed d our expectations.

The unit was as described in the photos. It was very large , clean and very comfortable. It was great for a large family with kids or two couples. The condo was clean and had every amenity. It was close to Magic Sands beaches and many restaurants and a shopping plaza . However, it was in a quiet more secluded area . I would highly recommend this condo which had a swimming pool and tennis courts.

Stunning views from your patio and right from the master bedroom! We didn't use the kitchen as we usually dine out when travelling!

The view is great and less than a 10 minute walk from a great snorkeling beach. Overall, the condo was clean and well taken care of. Updated kitchen and bathroom countertops and cabinets. The management needs to update their instructions, as they mentioned a lockbox for the key. The condo has a keyless entry which is convenient. The beds were super firm and very uncomfortable, hopefully, they will be replaced or have foam toppers added. One of the screens did not fit the windows very well, so we kept that window (by the front door). And the refrigerator started to freeze over.

We were very happy with the condo and the grounds of the complex. It was very lush and manicured. The pictures of the unit were accurate (always something I worry about with VRBO). The unit was limited on cleaning supplies; we had to go out and purchase our own dishwasher and washing machine detergent which we thought was odd. The complex is south of Kona, about a 10-15 minute drive so you will need a rental car. There are many great beaches within a short drive or 10-minute walk north. If you are a tennis player, the courts were very nice! While the pool area was pretty, it lacked an oceanview; therefore, we never went to the pool. Overall a good value.

We very much enjoyed our 6 nights in this condo, from morning breakfast on the balcony to watching the sunset. Location is superb - there are 2 beaches within walking distance and you can walk up a short hill to a great espresso and creperie shop. We will stay here again.

Most days were spent off property. The condo was a great place to begin and end our days. The oceanfront location was wonderful. We ate most meals on the deck. We didn't miss AC. There were two groups of children above us running around at all hours which annoyed some folks. The unit is a little tired, but very adequate. A toilet needed repair; the TV remote was defectie and we were so relaxed we didn't do anything about either. Says a lot about how much we enjoyed it. I'd come back in a minute. Great value. If it were more expensive I'd look around for a hot tub and air conditioning and a little nicer decor.

Lovely home to stay in while in Kona. Unit 3202 appears to be the closest unit to the water. The surf crashes against lava rock right in front of you. It is a well maintained home thanks to the attentive owner. I hope to stay in this unit again in the future. Mahalo.

The view was perfect. We could hear the wonderful sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks directly infront of the condo. The furnishings were nice. We enjoyed our time in paradise, and we will be back.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience staying for about a week. The reservation process online was easy, and we received clear instructions and directions on how to get in to the property.<br/><br/>Furnishings overall were very nice, the location is stunning with brilliant ocean views and light, and the decorations and furniture are tasteful. The access to the swimming pool, tennis courts with a pro, nearby groceries and easy ability to drive to town for dining were all major pluses. The kitchen overall was very well equippd too.<br/><br/>Two suggestions - the water in the toilet kept running, and this is a plumbing issue that needs to be fixed. Also, we couldn't get the TV to work which was ok with us but could be a problem for longer stays or families. On the plus side, the Wi-Fi was very good too.<br/><br/>On the whole I highly recommend this place for couples, families etc. - we had the perfect week here and would love to be back.

I originally rented a different condo, but was told a week prior that "something happened" to my rental, so I was moved to this location instead. It was a bit further from where I wanted to be, but was more than happy with the change. Great location, clean condo, though I did have some trouble with the fans at first. Overall a great experience.

No hassle stay. Very clean and comfortable. Could have used a few more beach towels and pillows but the condo had everything else. We had a great time grilling out and having dinner oceanside on the porch. Mahalo!

In every way, Aloha. Being there is better than the pictures. Everything was just as advertised. Ocean breezes, spacious, comfortable, convenient to everything Big Island-Kona side.<br/><br/>...one caveat: It's probably over by now, but...The condo owner just below began a remodel on our second day. Cutting tile and wood on the lanai just below. Noise and dust. Loud and disruptive beginning at 8:am. Certainly his right to do so. Spoke with the owner. He apologized and used more water in cutting tile to reduce dust and noise. Unfortunately, Knutson didn't return any of my calls until we returned home.

We arrived to Kona and our original condo had loud construction going on in the unit directly above us. I contacted our agent for this unit and they provided a full refund. We then contacted Jamie with Knutson and she was amazing. We only had an hour or so to find a new condo to stay in and Jamie did everything right over the phone and had us in this amazing condo within the hour. I can't say enough about Jamie and her actions to save our vacation. Thanks for everything and I'll be contacting this company in the next few weeks to book this unit again.

We loved the property and the location. In particular we loved the seaside lanai. The location was optimal, just a short ride or drive to Kahalu'u Beach Park, which has awesome snorkeling.

We traveled to Hawaii with our family of four including two teenagers. The condo was spacious with amazing views. Our favorite was listening to the waves crash against the rocks at night. There were ample windows that allowed for great cross-ventilation at night. Location is convenient to small shopping plaza and about 15' to the main Kona shopping so it is more peaceful than the central Kona area, which we enjoyed. It was well-stocked for the beach with nice chairs and then some tennis rackets for family fun. The furniture could use some updating, and the kitchen was small, but for the price- we thought this was a great bargain.
