I know that when I booked this condo, I would rely on the reviews. As someone coming from Las Vegas, I was concerned that I was going to be hot without A/C in June but after the first day, the ceiling fans and portable fans kept my family more than comfortable however, I would recommend you keep all shutters closed during the day to keep the heat out during peak times. We were traveling with a seven-year-old and the condo was setup with everything and more imaginable to have a fun stay. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear and even a fishing pole (my husband loved that). We left behind water toys & a kids set of snorkeling goggles for a future kiddo to enjoy. The area is absolutely gorgeous and photos really do not do it justice. The grounds are immaculate and the pool was a daily staple for our family. The condo is near an amazing snorkeling park, which was only a short 10 min walk away and around a large shopping center with everything you can think of (grocery, pharmacy, coffee, quick stop restaurants). Overall, seven days was not enough in this paradise and we absolutely can’t wait to book again & return. Thank you to the wonderful management for the welcome goodies and beautiful space, you made our vacation so relaxing!

I really loved this place. I have a special appreciation for ground floor oceanfront places in that the view is less restricted and you feel like you can walk out right into the beauty of it all. The place was particularly well appointed, spotless, and had a well crafted Hawaiian theme. Very well done, and my sincere thanks for those responsible. It really makes a difference in the overall experience.. Parking was close and the unit was quite accessible. The development was very well cared for and it felt like a very safe area. While I didn’t spend much time at the pool this trip, I did appreciate that it was more spacious than most: you could actually swim some laps if you want. The tennis courts were colorful, well cared for, and inviting, though I didn’t take advantage of them. I had a very good experience with the manager, and I appreciated the periodic check-ins to make sure all was well. The location is quite close to the Keauhou Shopping Center, with many very good restaurants that we enjoyed, both carry out and outside seating. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back for another stay in the not too distant future!

This was the perfect location to the start of our Hawaii vacation. We will definitely be back next time our vacation plans take us to Kona.

If we could give this condo a 10 star we would. From the overall property to the inside the condo to the concierge service, everything was so nice! Our stay here was a wonderful treat to our stay in Kona!! Shyya took care of us so well with a welcome basket and ideas for where to eat and a super easy checkout! They thought of all the necessities as well as lots of extras to make our stay here super easy! We had the lower level and with many extra fans, we were never hot. We enjoyed great outdoor furniture and had a beautiful view right on the water. Beds were comfortable, extra pillows, loads of towels and extra hangers. I can't think of anything we would have changed about the space.

Loved being so close to the ocean and hearing the surf at night. We could appreciate the renovations that were made to the unit. Much better than other units we have stayed at in the area. Tastefully decorated with Hawaiian art. The ocean breezes kept the unit comfortable without AC in March with all the ceiling fans. Not sure about summer, but there were several floor fans in the closet as well that we didn&#x2019;t need.<br/>We were pleased with having a real person come by to make sure everything was ok. We frequently had communication from the management so we felt if there was a problem they were available. Plenty of ocean equipment to borrow. The Keauhou area is such a central location to base your adventures from. Shopping center very close by.<br/>We will definitely try to rent this unit again. Working with Knutson was much better than other rental agencies.

We spent a delightful 2 weeks in 1-103 at Kona Surf and Racquet. The unit was clean, very comfortable and well-appointed, and the location excellent for its proximity to a small mall with groceries, drug store and a few great casual restaurants - and best of all an excellent snorkeling beach (all within walking distance). Management company was excellent with communications and very responsive. We highly recommend for a laid-back vacation on the big Island.

Our family of 6 had an amazing time at this well maintained condo resort. Communication was quick and easy. Check-in was smooth. Everything you need to have a nice stay was thought to the details. The view from the patio is breathtaking, we enjoyed the sunset everyday. We would definitely come back.

Such a beautiful place at a beautiful location! Newly remodeled and lovely! Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were lovely, everything was very clean...it was perfect! Staff was friendly and easy to work with. Beach chairs and a small drink/food cooler was a nice added touch that we used most days at the beach.

Beautiful updated condo. The only downside for us was the noise at times from too many people in the condo above us.

We loved at stay at this condo. We woke up every morning to the sound of the waves. The view is amazing and we even saw whales while having breakfast on the patio. <br/>The home was very well stocked and the furnishings were beautiful. You do need to be careful as many of the furnishings are delicate. This is not your average rental with throw away furnishings. They took great care with every detail. This place was very special and our family loved our time here.

A great place to come home too!

We had a great stay here. Everything was new inside and the outside was really well maintained too. The beds were comfortable. No AC but we really didn't need it, it had great airflow (stayed in April). The parking was designated and a very short walk to your front door. The pool was pretty big and well maintained, it had a very shallow end and a very deep end. I was a little worried my kids would wreck the place, but the nice wood furniture is glass topped so I didn't have to constantly police where they were leaving their glasses. We had everything we could have wanted, snorkel gear, beach gear and towels, games, tennis rackets, pool noodles, kitchen appliances. Everything felt very safe too. We also had to meet an associate at our unit to show us around, they made that very quick and easy and were really flexible with our last minute planning.

This place had so many nice features. The view was awesome, very clean and had pretty much everything you needed. I vacation 2-3 times a year and Kona has become one of my favorite. The only negative I would say is I have a bad back and the beds weren&#x2019;t very comfortable but it&#x2019;s probably me

We had a wonderful time on the Big Island. This unit accommodated our party of 5 people quite comfortably. It was very clean, and had pretty much everything we needed. The location was great, as were the grounds. The only thing we didn&#x2019;t expect were several cats who came around, looking to be fed. Not sure if they belonged to someone or were feral? Also, there was no non-metal spatula other than a wooden one, and we didn&#x2019;t want to scratch the frying pans with the metal one. But, we would definitely stay here again! <br/>

The rental is very beautiful and tastefully decorated. We stayed in mid July and did fine without A/C. It has most amenities that you would need for an extended stay. It was very easy to cook in and has a great refrigerator and ice maker! If you are a family I would recommend verifying beach amenities prior to arrival so you can pack/reserve accordingly. The property has some items, but during our stay did not have enough beach towels or any snorkeling gear (we thought it did from precious reviews). <br/><br/>The location is great- within a mile to a great snorkeling beach, a mile to grocery stores and restaurants, and a lovely drive to Captain Cook/Two Step.

We really enjoyed our stay at our ground floor condo. It was newly renovated so it was very modern and comfortable! We could wake up every morning to the beautiful ocean right at our backyard! What I really appreciated was that the owner personally purchased a shower chair with a backrest per my request because I&#x2019;m in a wheelchair. It was very thoughtful that they could accommodate my accessibility needs so I could stay there! Also the staff at Knutson & Associates were very helpful and friendly, and made it easy to reserve this condo! I&#x2019;ve already recommended this particular unit to my friend whose husband has mobility issues. I&#x2019;m definitely going to come back and stay here from now on!

This is a very nice and updated condo on the best location in Kona. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to others. I wish there was an AC unit but the ocean breeze makes up for it.

Condo 1-103 at Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club was the perfect place to stay near Kona. The entire condo is in nearly new and updated. The furnishings are high end and beautiful. You are overlooking the ocean where you can hear the waves crashing against the rocks right outside your sliding doors. The condo had everything that you could need to have an enjoyable stay, from a fully stocked kitchen to all that you need to have a great day at the beach (chairs, umbrella, beach toys etc). We would recommend this condo to all of our family and friends and would happily stay again.
