We had a great time in the double suite apartment with fantastic views, spacious veranda, sitting & relaxing space inside and outside. Enough for 3 adults and two kids. The resort was clean, well organized, shopping & restaurants close by, and a good place for sports and relaxation.

Always easy to book with Kona Sunset Rentals

We absolutely loved our stay! We needed a place to fill back up and reconnect and this fit the bill to a “T”. The views are magical, the location is excellent, the Penthouse is cozy and well stocked. We had everything we needed to make our own meals and enjoy an ocean view right on the patio. The patio was our favorite spot enjoying every sunset. The patio doors provide an inside outside setting that just completely extends the master bedroom and living room it was magical. We were so close to everything stores, beaches, restaurants etc. we could enjoy the hustle and bustle of Kona easily and then come back to our private Penthouse. They even had on-site pools, BBQ, and restaurant made it so easy if we were feeling lazy. This is a great spot for family the additional space for extra guests was great and let you each enjoy your own privacy. We can not wait to come back! The management was great and very accommodating to all our needs we were able to add an extra night easily as we didn’t want to leave this place.

We just returned from a week at this beautiful location. It was the perfect location with nearby beaches. There’s a grocery store snd restaurants nearby. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

This was the ideal place to stay.

It was a very nice property centrally located near many of our activities. The two large balcony patios gave us the very best place to watch sunsets over the nearby ocean. The condo was furnished with modern clean appliances and furniture.

Everything about this place was wonderful! It was very well equipped, very very clean and close to so many great restaurants and places to hang out. When we go back to Kona, you can guarantee we will rent this again! Definitely one of the nicest places we have rented from VRBO!<br/>Our family loved this rental!

When we first entered the living space we were shocked at the view of the pacific. Enjoyed the shuffleboard and the sound of the fountain in the pool. Can&#x2019;t wait to book a return trip.

Stunning location with an ocean view. The patio was our favorite place to wake up with a morning Kona coffee and chat with family over what adventures we had for the day. Great location, 35 minutes from KOA. We were across the street from KTA and Longs drugs. There were beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler that made this a perfect beach getaway. Best food was at Umekes Fish Market. Visit the last place of refuge Pu&#x2019;uhonua O Honaunau. Stay for the Rangers talk, or do the self guided tour. We enjoyed the Manta dive out of Keahou. Come with respect for the people and the land, leave with Aloha in your heart. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We had the best time at this condo. It was perfect for 2 families traveling together. Would definitely stay again!

Great location right by the pool and overlooking the golf course. The two room setup, if you get units 201 and 202 was perfect for a family of 4. We mostly used the living area in the larger unit.<br/><br/>There were a few things broken - the door latch to the deck, the TVs service, etc., but we contacted the number provided and they were taken care of quickly. Overall very comfortable, well setup and would definitely stay again!

Great set up for two couples, two separate units but spectacular lanai. Fantastic view including sunsets over the ocean. Well equipped kitchen and facilities. Nice quiet location but close enough to walk to stores and restaurants.

The Penthouse 22B at Kona Coast resorts is amazing! The location was perfect and it&#x2019;s very spacious and clean. The views of the golf coarse and ocean and sunsets were all even better than the pictures! The spacious lanai was awesome! Having the two separate condo units was perfect for two couples, would work great for families as well. Everything about the penthouse was terrific, very nice decor, beautiful big glass doors facing the ocean. The units were very well stocked which was nice! Communication with Wayne( the manager) was great! I would definitely stay in Penthouse 22B again!

We enjoyed our experience so much that we have booked the units again for next year. The "2 side by side" units are the perfect way to share a vacation with another couple, family, or friend while maintaining separate zones or space for each. About the only thing I'd add to other reviews is that if you plan to do much cooking, you might want to pack your own knife, as while both kitchens are adequately stocked, they may not be to the same quality you're used to if you love to cook. Be sure to check both as they aren't stocked identically, or at least not when we were there. We were happy to find many staples in the kitchens and bathrooms, so take a good look around and see what you find. We appreciated the beach chairs, towels, etc., and also enjoyed having a pool, hot tub, bar/restaurant, and fitness center right down the steps from us. Great grocery store and some decent restaurants are right across the highway; walkable if you don't mind a hill and some traffic. Strongest wifi will be found on the lanai next to the pool/bar. We were very happy here and glad to be coming back again next fall.

The unit looked exactly as it did in the pictures - absolutely beautiful. We loved the view from the balcony.

Wow, this place is gorgeous! We spent our nights watching the sunsets from the expansive lanai. It was perfect place to stay and see the island. The place is well decorated and very clean. Great set up for larger families as there are two kitchens and two separate bedroom areas but connected. Loved it! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A beautiful place to vacation on the Big Island. The two units together are ideal for friends or family sharing. Lots of privacy and a large, ocean front lanai for gathering. The units have great amenities and are quite luxurious and are just steps to the pool and on-site restaurant.. You will not ask for anything more!

Loved everything about this place. Location was perfect. There was a shopping center with a grocery store right outside the complex and TONS of restaurants. But the restaurant and bar at the resort was delicious. Drinks cheap (for hawaii) and the wings and salads were delicious! The view from our place was amazing too. Sat outside every night to watch the sunset and try to see the green flash. Only complaint was that when the AC kicked on it created a little boom noise which if I didn't have the white noise machine on would wake the baby. Overall I'd 10000% stay there again. Great deal. And the best part? It was 2 units. So we were separate from my inlaws but close enough if wanted to hang out. (That lanai is huge!)
