This unit is well furnished and comes with a well equipped kitchen and dining area and a bacony to take in fresh air. Also, the building situated in a quiet, peaceful and well safe

This was my second time at the Kahaluu Bay Villas. This time brought my older kids. The unit was a perfect unit for a family or 2 couples. We had all the amenities of home as we love to cook our own meals. The unit was clean, fully stocked with kitchen supplies, the location was right across from great snorkel beach and easy drive to downtown. The lanai is very large and hadsbeautiful ocean views which we spent most of the time on the lanai when we were there. The pool is nice with a BBQ area. The managers were very responsive when we asked and brought us what we needed. Everyone really loved it. We will be booking for next year again!!!

The condo was perfect and the most spacious condo with a huge lanai, that I've ever stayed in since visiting the Big Island over 20 times! The view was amazing overlooking Kahaluu beach which is one of the best snorkeling in the Big Island. Is a perfect home base while visiting the Big Island.

We stayed in unit 304. The location couldn't have been better. It is about 1/2 block from one of the best snorkeling beaches on the island<br/>We particularly watching the sunsets over the ocean while eating dinner on the lanai. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking gourmet meals. The grill in the pool area was high quality and clean. The condo was clean & spacious for 4 adults. It was secure, safe, & well kept, so we felt comfortable walking to the beach. We had a wonderful time. The management company reached out more than once to make sure everything was in order & up to our standards. We had no problem, but appreciated knowing they were available. We would highly recommend this condo & will return next time we are in HI.

Very pleased with our rental at Kahaluu Bay Villas. Our condo was well equipped and spacious. The views from the balcony were beyond spectacular. We were gifted with a Hawaiian sunset every evening. The snorkeling across the street at Kahalu&#x2019;u Beach Park was a family favourite. We were there every morning enjoying the warm water, cooler fuel reef fish and the occasional sea turtle. I would love to return.

KBV unit 304 is in a great location right across from the best snorkelling beach. 3 minutes to get food at KTA grocery store for making healthy meals in the well stocked kitchen...loved all the extras like the blender, lots of dishes and glasses as well as spices. The pool was very nice with the BBQ area to grill. Washer dryer was also appreciated. The management company quickly responded for a few issues we had with the lockbox as well. I will stay here again!

Kahaluu Bay Villas Is a very well maintained building with 15 spacious apartments. It is ideally suited if you like to snorkel because the bay is only a 5 minute walk. This was the 17th time we have stayed here and of the 4 different apartments 304 has the best view of the ocean.

This was a great place to stay. Not far from the airport and great places to eat. Walking distance to the beach and great snorkeling. The house was spotless and well stocked. Great sunset views from the lanai. Would definitely stay here again.

A delightful condo and a beautiful experience. Parking stall 15 was really difficult to deal with. but we learned how without damaging the rental car.

The apartment is in an amazing location across the road from a great snorkeling and surfing beach. The balcony is large and has a beautiful, unobstructed view of the ocean. The photos do not do it justice. The communication from the management company was very good. The apartment is large and was clean. Although it has no air conditioning the fans and large, opening, sea facing windows meant this was not a problem and the temperature inside was pleasant day and night. It is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys available for use also which was really nice. The apartment is in walking distance to some shops and restaurants and the free trolley stop that takes you in to Kona down town is a short walk from the apartment. The swimming pool and BBQ area is also great and very quiet, we pretty much had it to ourselves for the whole two weeks. For everything that you get at this property it is a great price. If we come back to Kona we would definitively try to stay here again.

Stayed with two children and two elderly family members. Apartment is spacious. Great location for snorkeling, pool and bbq area were very useful. Clean. Just heads up for no A/C, but with all windows open and fans on it was good. Extremely great view from the balcony. Everything you need for snorkeling and beach days was provided. Definitely will recommend and come back again.

I had some concern with Check-in instructions, but I did not have any difficulties to enter in the unit. The unit is clean. There was a telephone in the unit, but not workable. It might be better to have a workable phone in the unit to get in touch with Knutson & Associates. Nice view of sea is very much appreciated.

We walked into the property to see giant sliding doors that opened to a patio overlooking pool, yard, beach, and ocean! It was breath-taking. We watched we several sunsets and a rainstorm from that patio. Just down the street (a 2-minute walk) was a park with a magical snorkeling place and a surf school. The unit felt like staying with a friend; comfortable and familiar. There was a backyard pool and grill available to guests. The unit had a nice flat screen TV, games, books, and even snorkel and beach toys for us to use. Staff were helpful and available. We had a minor miscommunication at the beginning that was quickly cleared up with a phone call. It was a relaxing stay.

Kahaluu Bay Villas location is ideal for people not wanting the bustling tourist scene. Great snorkeling is within walking distance, and a quick drive to shopping center for groceries/ good restaurants and town if needed. Nice/fun drive to Kealakekua Bay. Unit seemed generally clean, but it is 'tired' in areas (furniture, carpets, tile, bathroom sinks,..). We let Knutson & Associates know of some items that needed fixing and they were quick to respond and offered to have things fixed while we were there. Overall they were great to work with for booking, rebooking with COVID, and answering questions. Currently this unit is lower priced than others in the complex. If one is comfortable with being in a more worn unit, than this is a great place to stay. We really enjoyed our week!

This location was exactly what we wanted. I don't really think the photos do it justice. We were 2 couples with kids and this place had everything we needed. Close to the beach with a great view of the sea, and just outside central Kona. The app was very helpful, but I also received a text from Mervlyn before checking in which was great to have an immediate personal contact about accessing the rental. She was super responsive to any and all questions we had, and really made our trip a great one. I would definitely come back here!

This is our 4th stay at this location and we have been satisfied every time.The rooms are clean and they have all the equipment needed for a nice vacation.I hope we will make it our 5th stay in a few years.

This third floor condo is one block from the beach, mostly snorkeling. The condo gets warm in the evenings but the fans help and you get to see some great sunsets. The condo was well stocked and had all we needed. My husband loved the refrigerator door ice/water feature. Only one minor issue related to the check in process where an inspector was in the condo but we were not alerted so neither the parking spot or key were available. The management company got back to us and called us later to apologize. Also, the vertical blinds need 5 or so slats inserted because afternoon TV watching is hindered. All in all a solid condo.

Large, conveniently located condo. Beautiful ocean view from lanai. Snorkeling beach and trolley stop at your doorstep. Restaurants and shopping minutes away. Clean but could use some updating particularly the beds and linens.

We were so happy with the location, the view, the access to the pool, the friendly neighbors. It was a great place to stay for our time on the Big Island.

As I said in VRBO, this rental is a gem -- lots of space, huge deck, ocean in front, panoramic view, a bit of wear and tear, but well maintained and super clean. Best safe snorkeling in Hawaii just a a few hundred feet away. Parking under building, great pool and BBQ setting -- eat, party by the pool. No AC but fans can do it all because of great air flow. Wow! Wow!

If snorkeling is your goal, and it should be, I can't imaging a better location. a one-minute walk to the Kahalu'u Beach. We went many times and always enjoyed it. Please note: There are tons of Boogie Boards and various snorkel equipment in the locker! We did purchase snorkel gear for everyone at Costco on day 1. We did, however, enjoy the use of the boards. The property was very clean and we needed nothing. We did receive one complaint from a resident that we were being too loud in the hallways. However, I don't think it was us. We had no small children and were not loud. Note that the property does not have A/C so the fans kept quite a lot. The view was stunning. We enjoyed the pool quite a lot! The property is also located 1/3 mile from the Keauhuo Shopping Center, with a grocery store, restaurants, movie theater, etc. We enjoyed taking drives along Ali'i drive, to see the shops, cafes, and beaches.

We loved our stay here. The location is perfect, being across from the beach and close to the grocery store, etc as well as central to traveling either north or south on the Island. The ocean view lanai is the best. The pool is great and usually we were the only ones using it. We look forward to returning someday soon! Highly recommend this to anyone for whom location and a pool is a priority over a modern interior.

My friends and I had the most wonderful time in Kona. The condo was exactly as described. It stayed cool and the balcony was perfect!

It was important for our family of four (two older teens!) to have 2 bedroom/2bath accommodations, and this condo was perfect. (And immaculately clean.) With the snorkeling beach across the street and a short drive (5 mins)to the Keauhou Shopping Center (KTA Super Store (Grocery), Longs Drug, restaurants, cinema, etc.) this was a great location. Blake from Knutson & Associates was responsive to my calls & texts, great to work with. Thanks for a great stay, we hope to return!

The condo seemed older but in good shape. The kitchen floor was a bit sticky when we arrived but not a big deal - everything else was nice and clean. We hadn't been to the Big Island before - in general the beaches along Alii drive are small pocket beaches not the long white sand beaches you may find in other places. But if you want to stay on Alii - Kahaluu beach is probably the best - good snorkeling. Our kids enjoyed walking down to snorkel and then playing in the pool at the condo - a hot tub would have been nice for evenings when you get cold swimming but not a big deal. The management was good - the beach gear in the storage unit was helpful.

The Condo was fine, pretty well furnished but not as well as it could be...We had a good time, and enjoyed our stay..the pre-instructions were excellent...found the key and the condo was ready for us...very clean and NO BUGS..beds were very good, the fans helped a lot, but would have liked air conditioning . We enjoyed the view, the sunsets and the singing birds early in the morning...The condo had everything we needed...well equipped...

The vacation rental was in a great location and I loved that it was secure and on the third floor. The unit is in bad need of updating especially the refrigerator (even a little sanding and painting it with enamel paint). The towels had to be washed because they smelled musty. Liked that it had 2 bathrooms and a washer dryer.

Everything was as expected - very comfortable accommodations, adequate space, well equipped condo. Best feature was the ocean view and the close proximity to the best snorkelling beach!

We stayed in that Condo during Ironman week and it was a great experience: Condo was clean and well maintained. Service of Knutson was excellent. We would recommend a stay in this flat. Unfortunately the trip from Germany to Big Island is extremely long, so we are not able to come back every year. But if, we would book again....

Six nights at this easy access location was just what we needed. With the pool and snorkel beach on hand this quiet complex suited us perfectly. Well supplied and clean/fresh with sunset views as a bonus.

We love this place. We've stayed in two different third floor condos because the view is so great. This year we saw whales breaching right off the coast.

My husband and I have been staying at the Kahaluu Bay Villas for about ten years now. This particular condo has the best view of any of the other condos. We have been in this one for two years now and we are concerned that more maintenance hasn't been done; replacing broken tiles, door slats falling out, rugs needing major cleaning, a new fridge, etc. It is very clean, otherwise, and the property manager is very helpful.<br/>and my husband loves the snorkeling there. We also are only five miles from the center of town and there is a wonderful farmer's market where we buy fresh fruit and veggies often. There are also many lovely shops to buy gifts.<br/>We will be renting this condo again in 2017 and we would recommend this place to others. But we would like to see some improvements in the maintenance because it is such a lovely place and location.<br/>
