Beautiful resort, perfect for families with kids! The room was really nice and comfortable. Loved having the kitchenette and laundry machines. The pools were fantastic! Will definitely be staying again.

The condo was clean and modern. The facilities were excellent ~ beautiful property with great pools. The location was great. Only downside was that the condo lacked certain basic kitchen utensils...there was no oven mitts, only 3 cereal bowls, limited mixing bowls, etc. If you have 4 people (which we did) there is definitely a shortage of plates, bowls, forks, etc.

We spent a month in a 1 bedroom condo in a fantastic location! The condo was small, but immaculate. The property was truly lovely with an excellent fitness center. Great restaurant on site, located right at the beach. The property manager was very responsive the one time we needed to contact her.

We loved Honua Kai!

Loved our rental. Everything was very clean, new and beautifully decorated. Honestly, can say we will be booking this rental again. The views are great, both of the mountain and ocean. It felt cozy, comfortable and like a home away from home.

We have a family of 4 and this was a great place to stay. There was enough room for two teenagers and two adults. Epic Reality was available if we needed them and the place was stocked well with items for the beach! I highly recommend staying here. We love staying at Honua Kai. Great location in Maui and Dukes restaurant is on the property!

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo is beautifully decorated and is in a great location! The beach and pools were a dream for my kids! Kim Marie was a godsend to us during our stay as we were there right as everything started shutting down due to Covid-19. She made sure we were well taken care of... allowing us early check ins, and late check outs, last minute changes, etc. I highly recommend staying at any of her rentals for your vacation!

Pictures are just how the condo is in person! Loved how we could open up everything and let the breeze come through when we wanted. The pools were nice in a way each one were somewhat blocked by bushes and made each pool feel a bit private. Duke's has great food, and is convenient to have right at the resort. Resort and room were all very clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. We will defiantly be back!!

We had an amazing vacation at this resort! Although the weather didn't cooperate the entire time, we really enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautiful, property manager extremely nice to work with, and the resort is top notch! Condo is very spacious, clean and well equipped. Partial ocean view and partial mountain view. Having Dukes restaurant right at the resort is a great plus! Great food and atmosphere. The pool and resort grounds were excellent! Highly recommend this condo and resort!

What a beautiful property! The unit was also very tastefully decorated and in a great location,close to the beach walk and pools. The bed was comfortable and so nice to have A/C. We made use of the cooler on beach days. It woudl be nice to have a could of chairs and umbrella available,but we were able to rent these close by. We would definitely stay here again.

My family of 4 stayed in this unit. It was quiet! Barely a hint inside or on the deck of any construction (our initial concern when choosing this resort). It was beutofully furnishes and had most everything we needed. We loved that the kitchen was furnished, had a few items needed for cooking and preparing food which we did often. Feel like we could have used more storage containers. The large shower was great for catting their kids showered off. Could use more places to hang bath towels for drying. The TV could use better instructions!! We could not get on regular cable or local tv. We used the smart tv and watched YouTube and amazon. Would be nice to just peruse tc or normal showings. It would be nice if there were some explanation of that and directions if those things are available. The WiFi was good, no issues. I did have some trouble downloading shows to watch on the plane. It took a very long time, but did not affect any normal surfing.The fold open doors to the patio were amazing and the kids loved sitting out on the lanai with the ocean view. The black out curtains in both rooms were great for a bit of vacation sleeping!! Our room had a quick exit to the stairwell and easy out to the ground floor and quicker to the pool.We appreciated the chairs and sand toys very much since we have had to purchase them before and leave them behind. We used them for beach excursions.This is the perfect resort for a family. Many pools, beach just off the back that is plenty big enough, little waves or current when we were there, some snorkeling just 10 feet off the sand, and TURTLES popping up right next to you when you are just standing at waist deep water. Love the beach towel return and self check from the machines! So easy and can get them over and over so you are not using wet towels. Parking was super easy under in the garage, always a space.Will gladly stay in this unit again if we come just the 4 of us, or a large units with family or friends

We love staying at Honua Kai. The location is so convenient to Lahaina, Whaler's Village, and many attractions. The amenities at the condo complex are many,the pools, the luscious landscape, etc. are so beautiful. The condos are immaculate and contain everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The room was exactly as described and the overall property was super convenient. We will be back!

Honua Kai is a great condo/resort for families. This is our second time here and it was wonderful. There were a few things missing from our condo and the management company was attentive and had everything fixed right away.

The condo was smaller than where we stayed last time. Everything worked and the amenities were excellent. However, we stayed at Honua Kai 3 years ago and the pillows, bedding, fabrics on sofa and chairs need either cleaning or upgrading. If this condo is a steady rental unit, then it needs a little refreshing. The condo is well stocked and everything was as explained in the amenities provided. We especially liked the items left in the refrigerator, the dishes, glasses, cutlery were as listed. We could have used more towels and were glad we ordered extra maid service after a week into our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Honua Kai.<br/>The condo was beautifully furnished, very comfortable, clean and we appreciated the supply of beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, cooler, etc. <br/>The resort grounds are lovely and very clean. The beach in front of the resort is gorgeous, a great place to relax, swim, watch the whales jump, and see the turtles. <br/>It was convenient to have a full grocery store just a short walk from the condo. <br/>It is a short drive to Lahaina for shopping, dining, souvenirs, boat cruises etc.<br/>Only one small concern, construction is just starting on the property next to the Honua Kai,<br/>our balcony looked over the construction site and during the weekdays there were some trucks working. It wasn't really an issue for us, we were out of the condo any time the work was being done. <br/>We are already planning to go back next year. The location and amenities are fantastic!<br/>

Traveled there for the first time with a 12 yr old and a 9 yr old boys. Pools were wonderfully set up to keep kids safe but fun. Always found a chair..Beach was amazing. Recommend bringing your own snorkel gear. Beautiful room; construction was on going but noise was no problem and with two boys it was fun watching the big trucks. Loved our stay!

Wonderful experience. We love Maui to begin with, but this condo & our stay far exceeded our expectations for our August vacation. Prop Mgt firm is extremely professional and responsive and high-tech (love the app!).

We had a terrific time staying in the condo unit. It was nicely appointed, and conveniently located. We would definitely stay again.

Great location, beautiful property but bewarned it is right across from the sewage treatment facility. There were 3 burned out lightbulbs in the unit we were in and after several requests to fix it nothing was ever done. It made getting ready difficult with how dark the bathroom was. Also we never had anybody clean our room the entire time we were there. I would suggest booking direct through Honua Kai where you get follow through and room cleaning every other day.

We stayed in Honua Kai 316 (Hokulani) for 3 weeks in February 2015. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay. Only criticism is the unit faces south onto a vacant property, so not much of an "oceanfront view" as advertised. Also, that vacant lot is now under construction, so we experienced construction noise and dust through each week. Otherwise, a beautiful unit, resort and location on Kaanapali Beach.

The rental property was excellent. The unit was well-maintained, and the Honua Kai is wonderful. We spent a ton of time enjoying the beach and the gorgeous views of Molokai and Lanai. The view from the balcony isn't the greatest because of the construction next door, but having the balcony is a huge plus and you can see the ocean from it as well as the mountain. The doors to the balcony also open completely giving a nice indoor/outdoor feel to the unit. I highly recommend staying here!

The Honua Kai is a great location for your Maui vacation. The property is in great condition and never felt crowded despite us vacationing here in peak season (Christmas). The pool is great for the kids. The beach was nice, there were some rocks which may be bothersome for littlkids but my 8 and 11 year old were never bothered by them. Snorkeling was good and we even swam with a sea turtle. <br/><br/>The rental unit was exactly as described with lots of beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach toys. Very clean too. The construction next door is nearing completion and never posed a problem for us. You do have a view of the ocean from the balcony which was nice. <br/><br/>Finally, Epic was great to work with. Our greeter Stacey was very nice and prompt to provide keys even when we were delayed almost 2 hours beyond our original expected arrival. She even helped carry a few things to our room for us. A+ customer support. I look forward to our return trip to Maui in a few years!

had a great experience at Honua Kai! Management company was outstanding. Had an issue with the washer and Tony came right away to fix the issue! Anita met us when we arrived with coffee and cookies for our children. We would definitely go back again.

The condo is great. Not much of a view, but we knew that going into it. The property is in a great location near Lahina. I was a little disappointed in Epic Realty, helpful during rental process and upon arrival, but we had a couple of minor issues while there, and Epic were not very quick to respond. No problems with the property itself.

Unit was clean and size was great. View was not as expected and major construction.

The unit was great! The coffee and cookies were a nice, welcoming touch! The construction view and noise were a bit less than to be desired, but we had a fun time none the less. Reservations and confirmations were an easy and seamless process.

I just returned from my honeymoon and I would say that our overall experience was great with a few instances that weren't perfect. We were instructed upon arrival to contact our greeter, but we couldn't get through to her for over an hour so we ended up buying some snacks and waiting until we heard from her. The rental was great, just as pictured. The view is literally of the construction site, but we never heard any loud noises coming from it so that's good!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the condo. We especially like the pools and Duke's Restaurant at the resort. I would say the fabrics on the couch, chairs, pillows, etc need am updating. They look worn in places and could use a good cleaning. The kitchen was perfect and we liked the large bathroom. The condo was smaller than many at Honua Kai and it set back from the ocean. We stayed at H K three years ago in a larger one bedroom with a much better view. So even though these were mostly minor issues, we will need a bigger place next year - especially is we bring more family. Thank you for your consideration.

The condo was very nice-fairly well appionted kitchen. However, Nadia from Epic Realty was extremely unresponsive. We arrived to find one roll of toilet paper, no hand soap or kleenex and a shower drain full of hair. I texted her and she did not respond. The next day I emailed her and never heard from her. However, she forwarded my complaint to the property manager who was great. She stocked our condo with sufficient TP and kleenex, just one bar of soap however, and cleaned the drain. She did accuse us of damaging a wall which we had not done. It had clearly been caused by the end of a mop or vacuum. My advice-take pics and video of every bit of damage you see the minute you arrive to avoid problems. Other than that the property is very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Pros-location, easy parking slide, plenty hot tubs, nicely furnished pad, we got in early and Epic got our room ready for us early, pool staff was awesome.<br/>Cons-Laundry, dryer did not work. Major problem with two young boys. Overall cleaning not top shelf. Dustballs, mold, roaches, pool was not very clean on a daily basis, need better instructions for check in (we schlepped all the way to the wrong building)and bell boys were really rude. Can't charge to room for amenities at pool.

<br/>We had a great stay at Honua Kai 316! After two weeks we still weren’t ready to come home. Aimee was super friendly and welcoming upon check in and Stacey was amazing throughout the rental process and super helpful during our stay. We are already planning our trip back for next year!
