This property is lovely and very convenient to the main area of Fredericksburg. It was very clean and even had water and cokes in refrigerator upon our arrival. It comes with stove and frig but no sink in kitchenette which makes washing up the dishes a bit difficult. I did not care for the bed pillows (I’m picky) but that’s a minor issue.

Great location. Just a few minute walk from downtown. Everything g was fantastic.

I had the pleasure of spending a few days here. Very nice room in a convenient location to the downtown shops.

Gausthaus 402 was a perfect choice for my wife and I during a much needed weekend wine country escape. Very clean and comfortable with nice touches throughout. The bed & couch were cozy and comfortable, which is always important for a restful stay. The location was perfect as it was close enough to walk to everything but amazingly quiet at night. We had a slight issue with the heater and the response from Escapes and the owner was fast & efficient. They had it resolved right away with great communication, which I greatly appreciated. Highly recommend staying here.

Cottage had plenty of room for the two of us. It was clean and well-maintained. Walking distance to Main Street -- which was a big plus! The bed was entirely too high to get into. Had to use a foot stool that was rather wobbly. Also, inconvenient to not have a kitchen sink -- since it had a good sized refrigerator, full stove, plenty of dishes & pans. We made it work. Overall -- was an enjoyable stay!

This guesthouse had everything we needed. It was cozy, comfortable and a great location. It so close to main street we were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants.
