This beautifully renovated 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhome features tasteful mountain décor and a spacious layout designed for comfort and convenience. Ideally located right on the Winter Red Line shuttle route, the home offers easy access to the slopes and is just a short walk to shopping, dining, the movie theater, bowling alley, and the new Ice Center/Rec Center. The inviting living area features a large smart TV and a cozy fireplace, perfect for relaxing after a day on the mountain. The fully equipped, remodeled kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals, which can be enjoyed at the dining table (seating for 8) or the breakfast bar (seating for 2). Step outside to the deck and take advantage of the BBQ for outdoor dining. The primary bedroom features a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom offers a queen bed with access to a shared full bath. The third bedroom includes two twin beds, while the fourth bedroom is ideal for larger groups or kids, with two sets of bunk beds (two doubles on the bottom and two twins on top). Older place but very clean. Only 2 parking spots for 4 visitors all from different locations beds were comfortable.
Condo was perfect. Had a great time. They have a mouse who has made the upstairs his home. City was way busier then normal and a little crazy. Overall though we had a great time as usual.
Nice place....would rent again
I have stayed before in the Chateau de Montagne and had the same experience of a great location that had easy access to the places I wanted to go. The units were clean and stocked with everything you might need. Thank for a pleasant stay.
The condo was in great shape, clean and comfortable. Picking up and dropping off the keys was a breeze, and the staff is very helpful. I left my pillow there and Tina is Fedexing it to me as I write this!! We were in walking distance of some great restaurants and close to the High School for the big game. It was very quiet, away from the Village. Would definitely go back!
We had not rented in this area of Mammoth before. The unit was very convenient to town, which worked well for our group of 8 (two families of 4). The unit was very clean and well stocked on our arrival. The beds were very comfortable! The kids aged 9 - 14 shared the room with 4 bunk beds. We cooked every night in the unit and found a plethora of dishes and cooking tools, particularly large pots and pans. The complex was quiet. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, but it was a bit dated. It was convenient having our own bbq on the deck. We would definitely rent the unit again.
Awesome living room and setup. Great Wall decorations, really had a nice homey feel to the place.
Had a great time with old friends. Nice to be by the trolley pickup and near vons in town. Large condo - bunk beds are larger than most and we had 3 adults in them. Good condo for 8-9 people.
We had a wonderful vacation, and the vacation unit was great. The unit has some special touches; high quality carpeting and floors, some leaded glass windows, comfortable furniture; overall, a really nice place. One shortcoming was that it was advertised as having a washer/dryer, which it didn't have, so we had to spend an afternoon making an unexpected trip to a laundromat.
Our family group of 10 (5 adults and 5 kids) had a great time here. Condo was as described in the listing. Check in and check out was easy and convenient. We like staying on the Chateau Road area because it's so close to the Vons supermarket and several of the good local restaurants.
Nice accomodations. Enough room for 10 people - 4 adults and 6 children. The location was close to Von's and restaurants, a children's park, and paved bicycling trails. It worked out well for us. The place needs new blinds on the windows, however, as they are falling apart.

Enjoyed the condo's location to stores and restaurants. Also very clean and accommodating 7 of us. WIFI worked well, TV provided plenty of variety. Easy access to office for key pick up and drop off.

Accommodations suited our party of ten. Kitchen is small. Slightly disappointed all the firewood was wet and we had to go into town to purchase dry wood. Appreciated the 3 bathrooms. Location to an early Red Line stop is very nice, guarantees as seat up to the hill. Beds were comfortable.
Really nice clean and great location
I had a group of 10 stay here for a weekend of snowboarding. The condo was conveniently located near the shuttle line which was perfect because half of our group went to the slopes while the other half went cross country skiing. I'd definitely recommend, and planning on staying here again!
We were 3 families - 5 adults and 5 kids - and we fit in the house perfectly. It was nice and clean and the room sizes were good. Our only 2 complaints were, [1] the house was freezing cold when we first arrived and it took half a day to heat the house. After that, the temperature was fine [2] dishwasher was not washing the dishes well. But overall, we had a great experience.
Have stayed here before for hiking week. Good location and setup for mixed singles and doubles. We had 8 people but only gave towels for 6; said it was their policy to give two sets of towels per bathroom - had to plead for more. Rooms rather dark with dim lighting - brighter bulbs would help.
Been coming to mammoth since I was a little kid and have stayed at the chateau de montagne in different condos and love this place. I consider it a home away from home. #1 condo is by far the best condo in the complex. Would recommend this condo to everyone. Lot more expensive but worth it.
This unit was very clean and well-maintained. The location was excellent and the property management professional and great to work with. Kitchen had an abundance of cookware and dishes. Lots of sleeping spaces. We highly recommend!
Upon first arrival- It smelled like wet dog on the first floor especially the back bedroom. The downstairs carpet was pretty soiled. The place is in a great location and the property with pool, hot tub, and grills are great. The dvd player didn't work and the wifi was really spotty. Luckily we had a hotspot on someone's phone to get a few things done. I did tell the woman about the issues when I checked out, but she didn't even write it I don't know if Mammoth Sierra knows about the problems.
Prompt service help when refrigerator was not functioning properly. Was fixed promptly but still seems to be tired and old and barely working properly. Also got quick service in replacing DVD player that was not working. Overall a good experience.
Wonderful stay at Chateau de Montagne. Unit #1 was spacious, clean and well stocked for a large group. The location was perfect. We could walk to the movies, grocery store and restaurants. Also, there is a jitney stop right in front of units.
Loved this condo! It was perfect for our group. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could cook at home, there were enough bathrooms for the group size we had (6), it’s close to everything. The only complaint was that the beds were not the most comfortable. The master has a memory foam, which I really don’t like, and the other guests said the beds weren’t the best. But after long days of boarding it’s still easy to fall asleep! The condo was very clean, everything worked well. Despite the beds, I’d stay here again.
It was a great experience but the WiFi was very poor.
