My 2nd trip to the Big Island. This condo and the complex were much better than previous stay. Clean, well maintained, and little things like a small stock of spices like salt, pepper, etc and coffee filters, six pack cooler with reusable ice packs. The drying rack in the shower was lovely for hanging swimsuits to dry. I LOVE the salt water pool which allowed me to swim seaside without the danger of pounding surf. This trip for me was all about scuba diving each morning. In the afternoons I lounged in private beach and swimming area. In the evenings lots of socializing near the beach. Mostly adults rather than a bunch of screaming, noisy kids. I will return to the Big Island and I will try my best to rent Casa De Emdeko 330!

It was good. Work week I Kona so unfortunately I didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities!! But easy in easy out... knives need sharpened! But I made them work.

It was professionally maintained and well supplied with the amenities we have come to expect, and we will be certain to contact Knutson & Associates to reserve this Unit again for us when we plan our next Hawaii vacation! We've rented other units at Casa de Emdeko and found this to be the nicest. Immaculate housekeeping, kitchen had everything, bathroom well updated, plenty of towels, etc. The one significant drawback for this very nice unit is that while it has a great view and the best, most inviting, and comfortable lanai furniture, it has full sun until afternoon, which means it's not possible to even enjoy breakfast or coffee or read on the lanai. Such an easy fix would be the pull down screens that many units on the sunny side have.<br/>Top rating to Knutson as a management company in general and for the immediate weekend response and repair when we were briefly locked out.<br/>All in all a very pleasant stay.

The property management company kept us well informed from beginning to end of the stay. The property met our expectations of the descriptions of the property. It was clean the furniture was comfortable and the view was as advertised. It was a short fifty yard walk to watch the beautiful sunset,which we did daily. Wonderful stay.

Casa de Emdeko is a nice property with a very friendly vibe to it and Knutson was great to work with. They responded promptly to any questions we had. As for the unit: pros were that it was spacious and clean, has some updates, was pretty well stocked, was very quiet, has A/C, and there is a great community grill and common area. The only cons were that my husband and I found the mattress to be too soft (and I tend to like softer mattresses) and that the sun hits the lanai in the morning through early afternoon so it was rather hot to sit out on until later in the day. Of course, that's not an issue if you're off exploring the island during the day. We didn't use the pools, but the salt water pool location was almost as good as swimming in the ocean.

Absolutely Loved this place!

The property was clean, the interior was upgraded with newer appliances and tiling work, it was peaceful and quiet. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, everything worked.

Thi was our 8th visit stay at Casa De Emdeko in Kona. As always, it was a perfect home base for a Big Island visit. All the amenities were very welcome, and we enjoyed having the beach, cabana, and pool areas available every day. The grounds were so beautiful and well kept as always.<br/>We have already booked our unit for another return in 2024 and look forward to to seeing our friends who visit or stay year round again!

We rented this condo for 3 weeks. We had a couple of issues and Knutson was very prompt in responding. The condo had plenty of kitchen items for the 2 of us. There were also 2 of the camp style chairs to use at the beach. Hopefully the dryer gets repaired as it sounds like you are drying several gym shoes in it. The bedroom has a new kind sized mattress and the bed is comfortable although the fitted sheet didn&#x2019;t fit well and kept coming off. There were plenty of towels and beach towels. The one negative I would say is the bedroom windows face the outdoor hallways and the blinds do let in a lot of light at night so if you need a dark room, this may be an issue but it seems that many units in the complex are the same.

WOW! What a Great Experience! We just loved our slice of heaven. Hawaii at its best! King size bed, walk-in shower, galley kitchen, living room, and a lanai. Amazing view from the Lanai. Tropical Courtyard, ocean view, fresh water pool, salt water pool, BBQ area. All gated and secure on Alii Drive, minutes from everything exciting yet private and Secure. Sunsets and Morning coffee on the Lanai are definitely Memory's I'll keep forever.

We rented 330 Casa de Emdeko and it was very nice. The management company was easy to work with. We loved the saltwater pool at the complex!

It was our first time staying at Casa de Emdeko. Hands down WHAT AN AMAZING UNIT! Very spacious with Ocean views, very private and gave that relaxed feel, at night you hear the waves crashing on shore. Bedroom was also spacious with a King size bed. Would definitely stay again!

The condo has a wonderful yet simple beach theme that felt like home. It was clean and comfy.

Don't have a lot of time, but I am being honest when I tell you the room met all of our needs. We had a blast in Kona and intend on coming back and staying in the same place again!! Ken

Knutson was exceptional to work with. Having visited in Hawaii each year for the past 34 years, I have worked with various Companies and found Knutson to be the best. Going forward they will be the Company I work with. They were Prompt in responding, accommodating and very professional.

couple little things, bed linen & newer towels would have been appreciated. All in all an excellent experience & lovely functional unit. A definite do again.

Very good, given the virus circumstances

Fantastic experience! Definitely a needed vacation during 2020 craziness. Knutson and associates were great to deal With! Property was everything I needed. Fantastic people and views. Will definitely use Knutson again.

We stayed in unit 330 for 10 enjoyable nights. The upstairs unit was spacious, and nicely updated. The bed and sofa sleeper were both very comfortable. We found most everything we needed in the unit, aside from pillow cases for the spare pillows - need some of those! We loved having the stack washer/dryer in the unit! There is some extra furniture on the lanai - more than in photo, which makes it a bit more cramped. Also need to mention the storage locker outside the front door - there is a ton of beach equipment to use, which is a fantastic addition! We found the complex clean, quiet, and lovely. The location was perfect for us, with great beaches nearby. My son enjoyed the saltwater pool in the evening, and the fresh water pool area was nice also. There is a really nice community area with big Weber grills. Unfortunately, it could take 2 days to cook your food...really slow grills, so plan accordingly. Parking inside the gate can be tough in the evening, but I felt that the area was safe. Overall, loved our stay and would return again!

Had an amazing stay in this apartment. Loved the location - far enough away from the town but close enough to be able to pop in and out as we pleased (just a short trip on the trolley $2 each way, or if you're up for it a nice 2km walk). Lots of bars and restaurants and cool small-town shopping. The pool is amazing and the sunsets were absolutely spectacular. We brought food and enjoyed barbecuing every night and unwinding with a beer/wine. The apartment itself is spacious and tidy and the aircon was a treat after being out and about all day. Comfortable and large bed, which was great and a lovely large shower. Everything was great!

The Casa continues to weave its magic after 12 years visiting. But don't tell anyone! It's our secret paradise!

We very much enjoyed swimming in the salt pool, using the outdoor pavilion, looking out at the gardens grounds below and the ocean waves from the lanai.

It was a wonderful experience. The condition of the condo made my friend and I think of buying something similar for future use!

We love coming to these condos. We'll probably ask for a different next time. Our unit was way out dated and had problems with the stove, air conditioning,TV, etc. We understand, lots of units are for sale. Probably won't stay here again

My husband and I have been coming to the Casa de Emdeko for 20 years. For us it is always great to be warm and see our friends. It is like a home away from home. <br/><br/>If I was going to change one thing about the unit itself, I would lose some of the plastic flowers that are pretty tcky. There are so many lovely flowers on the island. They should be enjoyed.

amazing location and services, lovely place

We were very happy with the Condo with the possible exception of the small screen TV. It was very difficult to see sporting events like the Super Bowl. Didn't even see the rude gesture during the half time show! This probably is not a problem for most visitors but we do stay a month.

We were very last minute. All was perfect, really good communications with Knuston and associates. Really clean, perfectly renovated place. I recommand this place.

After initially being locked out and no answer on the emergency number, the next door neighbor helped find someone to let us in. The owner of Knutson's took the time to send a card to say how sorry she was and included a gift certificate to a local restaurant which we greatly appreciated, but did not expect. A class act by the owner, we thought.

We've stayed at your place many times over the past 20 years and it's the only place we stay at. We love it at the Casa. Everyone is soo friendly and helpful.
