IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ:
- This apartment is privately owned and operated independently from the hotel. As such, amenities outside the apartment may require an additional fee payable directly to the hotel.
- Our rate includes access to the beach and the pool located on the way to the beach, as well as one complimentary parking space.
- Spa services and other hotel wellness amenities are not included in the rental rate. Guests who wish to use the spa may purchase a Day Pass directly at the hotel’s Front Desk or book a spa service (pricing varies).
* Please note that these services are managed and charged directly by the hotel, so we recommend inquiring with the hotel front desk for the most current pricing and availability.
OTHER THINGS TO KNOW:
- Guest shall provide Owner with the copy of driver's license ID for property security purposes and age verification. Guests must be over the age of 21 years old unless accompanied by the guests’ parent or legal guardian.
- Guest Cancellation Policy: If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, the reservation and damage deposits will be refunded as follows: 100% if cancelled 90 days prior to the Check-in Date. 0% if cancelled less than 60 days prior to the Check-in Date
- Security Deposit. The damage deposit is to ensure the Guest’s faithful performance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement and shall be REFUNDED within 12 business days after the day of check-out subject to deductions for: (a) Damage to the property or furnishings; (b) Dirt or other mess requiring excessive cleaning; or (c) Any other costs incurred by the Owner due to the Guest’s stay.
- Smoking: Smoking ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY is prohibited and any violation will result in a fine. MINIMUM $600 FINE FOR EVIDENCE OF SMOKING ON THE PROPERTY OR TAMPERING WITH/DISABLING SMOKE/CO ALARMS. THIS INCLUDES FINDING CIGARETTE BUTTS.
- Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Owner does not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. ANY TOWELS OR LINENS NOT RECOVERED BY PROPERTY OWNER IMMEDIATELY AFTER GUESTS STAY IN THE UNIT WILL BE REPLACED AT GUEST'S EXPENSE. Please don’t use the towels for cleaning the floors, shoes etc. Makeup can be removed only using black towel. If any of white towels are used for those purposes the guest will be charged the price of each used towel which is $20.

I would never use Red Awning or Ero Rentals ever again. If you own this unit, I suggest you find another property manager who pays attention to building rules so your guests can purchase the amenities as promised in the description. They have since changed the description but still refusing to discount it reimburse our stay. I have photographs of the website from when I purchased an even date of arrival. They changed the wording the day after on February 2th. This proves their guilt and still no word for reimbursement or apology. We had to purchase the hotel room so that we could utilize the facility as we had planned.
Take note that every other listing at the Carillon on VRBO and Airbnb has explicit instructions for registration to be done through the property at least 10 days prior to arrival so that I would have been able to purchase use of the fitness facilities. I was in communication with zero rentals and red awning two weeks prior and was told it wasn’t necessary. I have emails and voicemails to prove these conversations. I believe they never even contacted the correct people at the hotel, and found out on day of arrival, there is an additional property manager, other than manager Red awning and Ero Rentals. On my day of arrival I woke at 6 AM, my day of travel, to an email with a website to access check-in information that did not have my payment recorded so I could not access check-in information. It took nine hours to speak to a human being at Ero rentals to get the information. At this moment, their website is still not accessible because it still shows lack of payment even though payment was confirmed through red awning and a chat bot.
All along, I should have gone with my gut when it was a parent. They did not know what they were talking about in regards to using the amenities at the Carillon.
I am asking for reimbursement for the unit and reimbursement for my hotel room. I have sent them emails and have not heard back. This company has terrible communication, lack of responsibility for their mistakes and lacks empathy for ruining our vacation and causing extreme stress the day of travel.
In addition, the unit had a sign that the air conditioner cannot be turned down less than 72° because it could cause freezing and break the AC unit. The room was musty and warm. This should be fixed since you know it is a problem. Unfortunately, the hotel did not have a room big enough for four people so two of us still had to stay in this smelly hot unit.
I am at a huge financial loss due to zero Rentals and Red Awnings incompetence.
